Fisiahi is lean and prone to getting smacked around.

Interesting the calls to bulk up Tomkins....while calls to bulk up Fish are un heard of.

Tomkins seems less injury prone than Skinny Fish....I vote they leave well alone with his build.

Doesn't a bad diet make a player more injury prone? Maybe some of these guys need to eat more Vitamin C... (And drink less beer)...

lol
Being nit picky here , but if it's beer drinking you want to compensate for then it's thiamine from the Vitamin B group that you want to use as a buffer

Quite true...

But Vitamin C is also the essential building block for cartilage and ligaments... Not enough Vit C and the body becomes weak and falls apart, literally... Sailors call it scurvy (in its old world extreme)... But even a minor case of Vit C deficiency will cause a pro ball player all kinds of trouble due to the extreme impact stress placed on the joints, that sailors didn't have to deal with (except in case of a pirate attack that is)...

And booze drains Vit C like no other substance (other than coffee and chocolate of course, which are probably worse)...

But who cares about diet these days anyways...

Townsend time if no TL for the early rounds. Elliot might secretly be thinking that'll help his grand plan, unless townsend sucks. Just as well they kept Friend then, i was thinking he is about used up, but makes reliable cover. Godinet probably deserves another go too. TL could make his return via the bench with a view to taking over from friend at 9, if the johnson-townsend pairing works.

If that's the only major warrior injury coming out of this WC they'll take that, Mannering, Matulino, Johnson, Tomkins, Manu, Matagi, Bukuya still lots of players they can't afford to lose... Konrad seems to have made it through unscathed, anyone know what happened to fish?

I think TL will be fine. He has the chance to rest the injury now. That is what it needs. He was close to fit but not quite.

Warriors Orange Peeler
From what I can remember…

Thomas Leuluai - Groin
Kevin Locke - Knee
Sione Lousi - Hamstring
Sam Lousi - Knee
Manu Vatuvei - Knee
Feleti Mateo - Knee

Not sure on the seriousness of the injuries but Leuluai and Mateo haven't had any real training.

Locke is running around and can kick but isn't being tackled.

Sam Lousi's surgery was delayed because they had to wait for the ACC approval to come through. He's still able to do cardio and weights.

Think Manu's injury is a niggle that he gets most of the time and Sione's may be just minor...
