Latest injury update from the Warriors site
Gerard Beale | Patella fracture, left knee | Early season return
Wayde Egan | Right shoulder | First round return
Chanel Harris-Tavita | Left wrist | First trial return
Peta Hiku | Right shoulder | First round return
Karl Lawton | Left shoulder | Early season return
Nathaniel Roache | Left knee ACL | Mid-season return
Sam Lisone | Right shoulder/chest | Trials return
Jazz Tevaga | Left ankle | Return round 4-5

So no Roache, Tevaga or Lawton round 1, and our hooker for the trials is going to either be one of the halves or reserve graders :|

Has to be Kodi if common sense prevails with Kearney given the shortage of hookers at the moment.

I really hope Jackson Frei and Josh Curran have good preseasons and push for spots in FG this season.

This posted 5 days ago. Only difference from previous updates is that RTS is now listed as injured (due to return in trials)

"Meanwhile, Roger Tuivasa-Sheck is expected to miss the Perth Nines after a gruelling representative season, according to NRL.com.
His Warriors teammate David Fusitua is also in doubt. The duo are likely to be ready for the start of the season."

Even Fresher news - this posted today on NRL.com
The big change is that Lawton is tracking well and a possibility for the trials, and Egan may be ready for the trials as well.

Warriors

Wayde Egan underwent shoulder surgery in September while still at the Panthers but all indications are he will be good to go for the club's trial games.
Jazz Tevaga underwent ankle surgery in early December and is set to miss the opening month of the season.

Chanel Harris-Tavita (wrist, trials)
David Fusitua (hamstring, trials)
Sam Lisone (shoulder/chest, trials)
Wayde Egan (shoulder, trials)
Peta Hiku (shoulder, round one)
Gerard Beale (knee, early rounds)
Karl Lawton (shoulder, trials)
Nathaniel Roache (knee, mid-season)

I am reasonably happy with that, I was thinking we were in a worse position

So long as we are good to go at round 1 with one fulltime hooker plus kodi, that's not the end of the world

I'd imagine Fusitua and Hiku would come up to speed quickly and I sincerely hope them and RTS are rested from the nines as you mentioned earlier.

Sheesh we haven't seen much of Roach!

Not looking good with injuries good excuse for Kearney to say he was ham strung when we get this years wooden spoon and keeps his job for another year poor supporters another year of False hopes gone in a blink of an eye

Tajhay or Jagged - can we replace Frei in our 30?

Does my question make sense?
Not sure. Depends what he's on I guess.

Top 30 is your highest 30 paid players. Every squad has players on the minimum. If he is on the minimum then in theory we could bump someone else up to the minimum and have a choice. If that's legally allowed to happen - dunno.

However, he's an Aussie so we probably paid more than the minimum.

Most likely we're stuck with him and Bunty in the squad unless we can get some sort of dispension.

It would take more than a bench prop and fringe back up prop who is yet to debut, to go out with injuries to give SK an out haha!

I'm more thinking about losing Sao than Lisone..

The forward pack is workable. Not good, but the troops are there.

Props; Ah Mau, Paasi, Blair, Burr, JTB
Second Row; Harris, Curran, Pulu, Ale, Katoa
Lock; Papalii, Tevaga (Curran, Burr, Blair)

Snag a forward with the last roster spot, Tuimavave-Gerrard could do a job off the bench too.
