In our whole squad, after AFB and Barney who would you put in? Maybe Capewell for his end to the season? Everyone else hasn't really been in form or had a run of games without getting injured. Its a pretty sad reflection of our season unfortunately and the scale of the drop off in form of SJ that he won it last year and not even nominated this year.
I imagine RTS was the panel pick, the other three were by the RLPA reps on the team.
Honestly not a lot of contenders. Capewell post origin could sneak in there?
Ultimately, none of them are going to win Players Champion. AFB or Barney could sneak themselves into the Dream Team though

I would have put Capewell ahead of RTS and TMM.

That’s a good question, who was the 4th most valuable this season, I think TMM is fair for what he produced in winning games mid season, when we didn’t win many.
DWZ ended up with 15 tries in 22 games, that ain't bad.
Walker shouldered a heavy load as well.

Shit, I loved what Barney had done for the club this year. But Addin is by far our best player 2024. Feels like what the nrl did to sj last year.

It's a close one AFB and Barnett, but I would say Barnett was more influential, and grew into a real leader! Would not have minded any of those two winning, super happy for Barnett!
