I reckon we should switch to vBulletin.

I'm going to talk to Mosh.

We can get called an addon called vShop or uShop.

Basically you earn forum dollars for doing things then you can do various things like spend the money on buying upgrades for your account (coloured usernames, etc).

And there is an addon that you can use the money for sports betting. What you do is bet on a game and then the Admin will put in all the scores. Its very simple to do.

Its great for a club fan forum. Also its quite fun seeing how much money you can accumulate. With the money you can start groups, etc.

I know it is easy to upgrade all our usernames to vB. Well, kinda easy.

The board/software that we are using now is a free board and while they are good for starting a forum ...we are getting large and I think it is about time to move up a size .

I wouldn't mind donating a few dollars to help out and I am sure others wouldn't mind either. If 20 of us could donate $10 then thats already $200 dollars towards it.

We are looking at $260 for vBulletin but it is much more professional and I presume it would help Mosh out a bit with keeping this place tidy.

Mosh has already approached me about helping to design and stuff. I wouldn't mind helping towards setting it up and then administrating the betting and shop side of things. It would be quite fun.
