General Warriors can still make top8+team for this week

steve price said the warriors can still make the top 8. Wow. awesome. So do the warriors have to score 4 tries a game for their last 5 games to make the top8 or what?



And i heard Gatis upgraded his incentive based contract for all of 2007. So how much would he get paid now up from the 60K he was currently earning?

Here is my team for this week:

6. Gatis (yes gatis at number 6. way better than ropati)
7. Rovelli
8. Wiki (if he's suspended evarn will play here and rapira on bench)
9. Fien
10. Price
11. Luck
12. Anderson
13. Faumuina

14. Ropati
15. Tuimavave
16. Koopu
17. Guttenbeil

Next year ropati will be dropped and Witt will come into the team. And NO lance hohaia. He had his chance and the warriors just upgraded rovelli's contract and he's been playing fine at 7. they've already used fien and rovelli at 7, they won't use lance there and they wouldn't want Rovelli to lose confidence and move him to number 6 because they did that with stacey jones and it DIDN'T work.

I don't think danielspencer2 is dreaming at all, I think he's made some really good points here. Ok things might be a it stretched in terms of the top 8 but as I said there are still games to play and no team is going to go down without a fight.

there is a fine line between, realistically wishing your team to do well...... and being intelectually challenged. some of you are not just stepping over that line but taking a running dive. we can't make the finals, and if we did (which would require 13 other teams all catching leprocy and forfeiting the rest of the season), we are not playing well enough at the present time to make the GF, the one that counts. so lets just enjoy the 5 weeks we have left and look towards next year.

I don't see whats wrong with hoping your team can make the finals. I don't consider myself intelectually challenged just because i hope the warriors still can make the 8. I'm not saying they will i'm just having hope and faith.

Get off your high horse skinny_ravs. Now i see why you rile so many people up on other forums - dont question other people's commitment to the team just because they recognise an unclimbable mountain when they see one.

The thing is, it's not like we're even playing well and almost winning. We were blown off the park last week. The team showed no signs of having the potential to challenge top sides - and quite frankly with the NZRL business and the sione debacle, i think it may be a result of things not going too well off the field. Bring on 2007.

Can we be honest here, the warriors aren't going to make the 8, and i'm sick of people claiming they're more committed to the team just because they have some sort of blind faith. You don't have more faith than anyone else..just being unrealistic.
