For what it's worth, our last GF year (2011) had only 2 wins out of the first 6 games (although that was followed by 5 straight wins).

Are you trying to say that isn't possible in rounds 7-11 this year?!

If Webby could jag us 3-4 wins in the first 11 rounds, we're a good shot of winning at least 10 of the next 13 - which would get us to 26-28 points (plus points for byes in rounds 12, 16 and 22) and give us a chance of making the Top 8.

A lot of ifs in that, and I'm picking we finish somewhere in the vicinity of 10-12, but there is hope.

By the end of Round 6, we should know how our season is going to pan out - if it is 1 (or maybe 2) from 6, we are just playing for 2024 (which I don't mind, as this year is about re-establishing the club and its culture post COVID).

I think on NRL 360 pre season - they said we are a possibility of 0 from 9... then the draw gets a bit kinder. If it wasn't 360 then it would have been the NRL Guru show on YouTube.

Well it does, it is our year, depending on how realistically we define our year.

For mine this is a special year already and only cruel injury can stop us making the top eight.

I would be very happy to make it to any NRL finals appearance.
