Vulcans remain seventh in the New South Wales Cup following their memorable 12-10 win over Canterbury-Bankstown on Saturday in a rematch of last year’s grand final. While the result had no effect on the Vulcans’ position it cost the Bulldogs the competition lead after North Sydney had a 25-24 win against Newcastle to move to 18 points.
