If you haven’t already registered, make sure you register to attend out 2013 Members Forum this Thursday night!

This is your exclusive opportunity to hear about Club operations and have an input into our 2014 Membership programme.

WHEN: From 5pm, Thursday 4th July 2013
WHERE: Legends Lounge, East Stand, Mt Smart Stadium

We will provide you with an update on Club activities and how we are working towards our goal of being the best Sporting organisation in Australia.

Hear from Chief Executive Wayne Scurrah, Head Coach Matthew Elliott will provide you with an update on football and General Manager Football Dean Bell will provide an overview on recruitment.

PLUS, have your say! This season we have made time for Member presentations and ideas, so if you have a great suggestion to improve operations at the club or our Membership programme, please register your interest to make a presentation to the forum. We have limited time, so the first six members to register will have the opportunity to make a five minute presentation to the group about your idea or suggestion you would like to put forward.

The objective of the forum is to provide you with a Club update as well as provide you with an opportunity to provide feedback on our Membership programme as well as suggestions or ideas you wish to share to make our programme even better.

Refreshments will be provided at the forum and at the conclusion of the event, you can catch the end of the boys opposed training session and have an opportunity to mingle with the players, get photos and autographs and check out the new impressive gym facilities if you haven’t already done so! This is a great opportunity to have an input into our 2014 membership programme and we look forward to seeing you next Thursday.

Spaces are limited, so please register your attendance by emailing your name and number of attendees to memberships@warriors.co.nz by 5pm Wednesday 3rd July.

I guess this is why the team can't fly out to Perth until Friday...

Does beg the question though: why have this on Thursday night and not earlier in the week? Time to allow for Tomkin or Wigan officials too arrive?

Can't be - just checked the draw and I think Wigan are playing Bradford on Friday night... But I wouldn't be surprised if there was an announcement at some point before the forum...

Just got the heads up from work that we've got a table at the testimonial too - so have added my name to the list of people who want to go (fingers crossed).

Can someone find out where the training run will be held at in Perth please..

I was going to go, but the chances of me getting to Penrose before 5pm is next to nil. Oh well.

I registered on Saturday, been confirmed and will be leaving work early to attend. Not expecting too much other then a slick presentation filled with the usual hype but there will also be the opposed training session with the Vulcans or U20's and a chance to see the gym and get autographs so why not. Im going OTL so if anyones keen to hook up then hollar at me...

wonder if they'll have those wellington jumpers at the sale. My absolute must get before I die, is a Warriors jumper used and signed by Manu before he retires. To put on the wall with my 2002 jumper signed by the whole team. If anyone ever has any ideas on how to get one of these without me having to remortgage the house please let me know

Warriors Management have sent people to a 3 day sports media conference in Melbourne. I think Richard Becht, Don Mann , and Dan Burton have gone over.
Wonder what the catch phrase will be for 2014 after attending this conference?
July

1-3 – Sport is Fantastic conference – The Total Fan Experience

The Sport is Fantastic conference will be held in Melbourne this year from July 1st to July 3rd. It will cover areas of ticketing, membership, fan development and engagement and the role of technology, digital and social media for 2013. Key speakers include Dewayne Hankins Director of New Media, AEG Sports & LA Kings, Darrin Gross Senior Director of Corporate Partnerships, Oakland Athletics and Alex Balfour former Head of New Media, LOCOG.

Bit of an information overload. Managed to record the majority of the forum. It was quite informative but left a lot of questions. The number 1 theme that Scurrah kept hinting at is that a shift to Eden Park looks inevitable!

Not sure how to load a voice recording on here. Have an hour of the forum taped. Any ideas???

Yeah it was good, they were about as candid as they could be, certainly got more out of it than the usual radio/TV interviews. It'll be good to listen back to the recording. I'll provide a brief bullet point list soon.

I'm A bit star struck from the Forum to be honest, so was my 12 year old.

I got lots of photos of my lad in the Gym with the Players......he was stunned , we've never met anyone famous , he asked me on the way back to the car who two stars he didn't recognise were.

I promised him if we ever run into them again I'll get him their Autographs as well ( Mt Wellington and Toilet duck )

pleasure to have met you both btw.

Yeah nice to meet you too bro, haha I realise why you're a prison guard now, you're a big guy.

You should've told your son that the guy in the Bulldogs jersey was just there to steal inside info ;)
