General Very Hot Today

WOW, i reckon it's about 40 degrees here in Penrith, anyone else feel the Heat.

Just checked out the weather on the weather channel, it's 39 degrees and the Humidity is 41%.
im glad ive Air Con.

we had 44 yesterday and 41 today. been around 40 for the last 2 weeks

Yeah it was about 40 all out west today in Sydney, was cuss hot yesterday too. Had the air con full boar in the car both days on the way home, no good.

To give some idea of how hot it is, I had to start my car, put the air con on full burst for approx 5 minutes before I could get in, and I put a near empty cool bottle of water in the car, within 2-3 minutes later when I went to have a drink again the water was all hot, and so was the bottle, this sitting right in front of the air con.

A work colleague was telling me his Mrs works out at Bourke, and the other day it was 42 degrees.... at midnight. How do you live in that?

Holy Heck! I dont think I would handle that. It was another Hott one back here in NZ. Pissed down yesterday for an hour, was a relief but it didnt last. C'mon Winter..ohh and the Warriors

I was in Vegas in 98 and it was 49 degrees, took a photo of the temp on the digital thermometer in the city, however the heat there aint that bad its the humidity

Thats what we got too partner, the damn humidity. It saps you. You walk 5 feet and sweat starts pouring out the crack of your pimply A-hole.

Man I miss the West Coast on days like this!

Wow and I thought that its been really hot here when its been hitting the high 20's mind you it was supposed to have been 31 here on Saturday just gone! Mind you that is hot for anyone that knows Rotorua wether and knows that its usually cold here

played 9 holes of golf on sunday in 42 degree heat and shot 23 points. best game of my life.

clothes were totaly soaked after the 2nd hole as was my hole.

No way, anything over 25 is far too hot - do aussies actually like living in 40 degrees?? I certainly wouldn't. Whats the burn time like 30 seconds?

My cousin said that even though it's hot over there (she lives in Brizzy) you get burnt more over here coz we are like right under the hole in the O-Zone

On really hot days anything over 30 min and Im burnt.

Aussies worst job would have to be a roof tiler I reckon.

aye there has been some sorchers recently in nz. the humidity is the killer just saps your strength and energy. also with no breeze there is little escape from the heat
