Hi guys and gals,
It seems that there are two functions available to everyone on here that is not utilised enough judging by some of the personal slanging matches that have occurred in the past. By all counts, feel free to debate with fellow posters, but don't make things personal or ridiculing their opinions for no reason. Its perfectly fine to have healthy debates, but treat each other with due respect.
2 Functions i will explain in more detail are as follows:
Ignore
If there are posters on here who you feel are not 'worthy' of being shown to you, put them on your ignore list. What that means is that any posts by them will be automatically filtered from what is displayed. An option will appear that there are some ignored posts and you can then click on if you want to see them.
To setup...goto your user panel. Click on the People you Ignore button.
You will then be presented with the following screen, enter the username you wish to ignore, save, and that will automatically become active. You can change this anytime you wish to do so.
Report
If you feel that a user has broken the forum rules, whether it may be a personal attack, potentially a slanderous comment, or even something you may wish the mods to determine if it should remain on public view, then click on the Report button on the post. Example shown below.
Using these features will hopefully make your experience here a more pleasant one. Noone here wants to overmoderate or to pull others into line, we want the community to moderate themselves and as such you may have seen a more hands off approach with the moderating from when we first started.
