Anyone else watching the UFC on Sky at the moment, two big KOs already, so much better to watch than the shambles that is boxing.

Good finish to the event, couple of brutal KOs. All the sweeter one was scored by a Kiwi.

Lot of fans wanna see Roy Nelson and Mark Hunt personally it would be a good matchup imo he aint ready for JDS or the Overeem's or Velazquez yet he needs to work on a lot like his ground game (even if it a lil better) his takedown defense and just his overall condtioning if he got into decent shape the dude would be top 5 by now because no one can match his KO power in the division.

If he beat Nelson or anyone in the top 5 i think he can make a case for a title fight but not bad for a guy coming off a major knee injury Struve is no joke

Would be brilliant if Hunt was 6 years younger - he'd be looking at a hell of a future in the UFC. Kudos for him not rushing in to smash the shite out of Struve when he hit the canvas at the end; to me that showed a hell of a lot of class.

And the Silva-Stann fight... bloody great entertainment, but some truly insane displays of wild punching there. Really risky tactic to employ by either man, as there's no defence to speak of. Someone like Jones or Anderson Silva would jab you death or slam a knee into your chin for sure with an approach like that - or just let you punch yourself out, kick the hell out of your legs and just watch you fall over twitching like a fish out of water.

I thought that was classy as well on Mark's part usually when dudes go down like that that when the ground and pound to the face happens but just glad it didnt happen i thought Struve was classy as well check his twitter page out if you can dude gave nothing but respect to Hunt and both fighters embraced one another great to see in a sport that is so violent.

Wanderlei and Stann fight was awesome both were just going for gold and it was great entertainment but your right if they fought someone of note like Bones or Silva man it would be too easy for them. Those two really need to sort out a fight or even GSP and spider would be a hell of a fight. Personally if Bones wins aganist Chael Sonnen i would want him to move up to Heavyweight and test himself there or move down to middleweight there is no one in LW even near him imo

Yeah, that's a big call for the guy to make though - he'd be giving away so much weight it's not funny. I don't really mind guys staying at their most comfortable weight and basically dominating the fuck out of the division, as it makes the others up their game to even compete. Younger fighters coming through will be more skilled as a result, and that's brilliant for what's still a relatively young sport. Any heavyweights who moan that he's not man enough to step up should swing their own cajones about, shed the kilos and fight him at LHW instead of putting him at the disadvantage.

Fighters usually only changing weight divisions to keep the punters happy, but Dana White will be dangling the $$$$$ in front of Jones to move up. Even in boxing, you can see that a LHW like Shane Cameron struggled to foot it against good heavyweights, and you don't get someone lying all over you for five minutes at a time in boxing. I'd tell 'em all to get fucked if I was Jones, but I'd love to see how he goes at it.

Yeah true good point it was sort of similar when Shogun was champ when Bones won the title Shogun was just laying the bussiness on everyone in LW and it took a injury to Rashad Evans and a relative unknown at the time and unorthordox fighter that Shogun had never faced before like Bones and he lost. Now i would say thanks to Bones in a way you see alot of new fighters coming in esp in LW that are tall Lanky and very athletic like bones coming through the ranks now like Gustafasson and Phil Davis who are just ultra athletic but can hurt you in a number of ways. Thanks to Bones the newer fighters are molding there game after his way after seeing how much sucess he has had it going to take someone special to take him down in LW anytime soon

I wouldnt even mind a catchweight fight for Jones aganist someone in another div like Forest Griffin and Anderson had a few years ago i could see a 200 or 195 fight between Jones and Silva happening that way guys would have to drop or add to much weight to the point in affects there performance that much.

He will end up Heavy weight, he is far too big to stay light heavy, as he goes through his mid 20s growth spurt he will find it too hard to keep that much weight off.
Have you seen the size of his brother Arthur, at 26 is 143 kg, Chandler is 118kg at 23. Genetics will ensure he goes up.

Good point OMG - I wasn't thinking about him gaining weight through his 20s. Scary to think he's still so young eh?

Wasn't the greatest card but the last 2 fights were epic- have to admit, even tho hunt and wanderlei are my two favorite fighters I didn't really expect either to win which made it even sweeter.
That hook from hunt was devasting- broke struves jaw.
Wanderlei is just a crazy mofo- in Brasil they actually call him cachorro loco, which means crazy dog- both Nic names are fitting. When he gets into an exchange and starts throwing those hooks it's just wild- and stann played his part- my hats off to him too. Wanderlei actually looked a lot better as the fight wore on and he started throwing more straight punches- targeting stanns split nose. As much as I love to watch him fight it would be a hell of a way to go out if he decided to hang up the gloves- legend

Mark Hunt would destroy Roy Nelson....love to see Hunt / Overeem, Think Hunt would win aswell..cause Overeem would be dumb and arrogant enough to stand up with Hunt
