Bugger, just missed the fight but another big scalp for Mark.Mark Hunt is fighting right now if anyone is interested. Its on (torrent website)
Good finish to the event, couple of brutal KOs. All the sweeter one was scored by a Kiwi.
Would be brilliant if Hunt was 6 years younger - he'd be looking at a hell of a future in the UFC. Kudos for him not rushing in to smash the shite out of Struve when he hit the canvas at the end; to me that showed a hell of a lot of class.
And the Silva-Stann fight... bloody great entertainment, but some truly insane displays of wild punching there. Really risky tactic to employ by either man, as there's no defence to speak of. Someone like Jones or Anderson Silva would jab you death or slam a knee into your chin for sure with an approach like that - or just let you punch yourself out, kick the hell out of your legs and just watch you fall over twitching like a fish out of water.
Personally if Bones wins aganist Chael Sonnen i would want him to move up to Heavyweight and test himself there or move down to middleweight there is no one in LW even near him imo
Yeah, that's a big call for the guy to make though - he'd be giving away so much weight it's not funny. I don't really mind guys staying at their most comfortable weight and basically dominating the fuck out of the division, as it makes the others up their game to even compete. Younger fighters coming through will be more skilled as a result, and that's brilliant for what's still a relatively young sport. Any heavyweights who moan that he's not man enough to step up should swing their own cajones about, shed the kilos and fight him at LHW instead of putting him at the disadvantage.
Fighters usually only changing weight divisions to keep the punters happy, but Dana White will be dangling the $$$$$ in front of Jones to move up. Even in boxing, you can see that a LHW like Shane Cameron struggled to foot it against good heavyweights, and you don't get someone lying all over you for five minutes at a time in boxing. I'd tell 'em all to get fucked if I was Jones, but I'd love to see how he goes at it.

Lot of fans wanna see Roy Nelson and Mark Hunt personally it would be a good matchup imo he aint ready for JDS or the Overeem's or Velazquez yet he needs to work on a lot like his ground game (even if it a lil better) his takedown defense and just his overall condtioning if he got into decent shape the dude would be top 5 by now because no one can match his KO power in the division.
If he beat Nelson or anyone in the top 5 i think he can make a case for a title fight but not bad for a guy coming off a major knee injury Struve is no joke
