Can you give reasoning for putting Eastwood in at Five-Eight

I agree with putting Frank Pritchard in the team.

Doesn't New Zealand have alot of good Quality Second Rowers to chose from= Puletua, Galovao, Pritchard, SBW, Guttenbeil, Solomona, L.Anderson, Lauiti'iti, Kidwell, Faumuina and Fa'alongo

Even though he's destined to be a backrower/lock, Eastwood has said he prefers playing five eight. On top of that he's already put his hand up to play outisde Stacey in the number 6 as he idolised Stacey growing up. He was supposed to debut for the Kiwis against GB and was in tears when ruled out through injury. Playing for the Kiwis clearly means the world to him. He put his hand up, no Benji, give him a shot. That's my reasoning.

That's also why my team has Mannering on the bench. If need be Vagana can move to five eight, Eastwood to lock and Mannering to centre. Plus Mannering is destined to end up in the backrow so if Eastwood goes well Mannering can slot in there.

Has Whatuira been ruled out for the season? He was due back a couple of weeks ago but pulled out when he reinjured himself. Don't know if he's been officially ruled out yet.

Another guy who could come into contention in the last few rounds is Halatau. Spent most the season on the sideline but seemed to be getting some confidence back against the Broncos. He can slot in anywhere from hooker to backrow or centre.

Would like to see Ben Roberts given a go, this kid has the goods rust me.

Very tempting to slot Webster in at centre but i have alot of time for soliola

whatever happens, we can NOT pick players that ARENT fully fit. Class is one thing, but we absolutely NEED stamina for a test match. I'm sick of watching players not perform because they've been out for 6 months and have only just had a handful of 1st grade games under their belt.
