So which teams do you think will perform better and which teams do you think will slide down the ladder from where they where last season? Any one predicting any real big improvers?

I think Storm & Sea Eagles will again be top 4 material, however I'm still waiting for the season where the storm have injuries to a couple of key players resulting in them barely making the top eight, Personally I hope its next year

I think Panthers & Sharks will improve, I dont think the Panthers will be top 8 material next year but am expecting them to be better and a top 8 finish in 2014

The Wests Tigers will continue to struggle imo and it will be interesting to see there new style under a new coach.

Raiders, Dogs, Cows & Souths will remain about the same. I cant really see them going up or down, And I'm not saying that I dont think these teams could win the premiership as I think they could, They will be there or there abouts, Much like last season. Raiders will be there or there abouts but cant see them challenging for the title.

Titans and Broncos I'm unsure of, I guess it depends on how predictable they are in attack. They are both good defensive sides, especially the Broncs.

The Eels, Newcastle and Roosters can only go up after last season I think but the Knights off field dramas will definately have some kind of impact on them. They'll say it won't, but it always does.

Saint George/Illawarra will continue fall, They must also have some kind of financial issue as they really havn't done much to improve them selves in the off season.

The Warriors I really dont know, My heart says a top five finish so i'll just go with that.

I haven't really analysed the squads yet, will wait until next year to have a good look. But at a guess I kind of feel as though Manly may be starting to slide a little. Their halves are young, but the rest of the team has been around a long time - guys like Lyon, Watmough, Glenn Stewart, Brett Stewart, Matai, King, Kite. They're not over the hill, and their experience will probably get them to 6th or so, but I don't see them being a top 1 or 2 all season long. I'll probably be wrong but that's my gut feeling.

Can't see the Titans or Panthers doing great things. Titans have no halves and while Penrith have recruited well, still don't see them as a serious threat. I expect Sharks to run top 4, even if they don't go on to win it. Souths will likely be top 4 again. Don't expect too much to change for the Dogs or Storm, though it'll again depend on how the Storm negotiate the Origin period.

Dragons will be average, I expect them to miss the 8. Eels similarly will be better and will probably hang around 8-10 or thereabouts. Roosters probably have the biggest question mark over them, new coach, new half and of course SBW. I expect them to start with a hiss and a roar, but it'll be interesting to see how the season progresses.

I thought Prince was a good acquisition for the Broncos, he's nearing retirement but when fit he's still a top half. They should be top 6. As for the Warriors, well it'll either be complete implosion or a 7-8th finish, can't see us doing much better than that.

Our season will probably again come down to whether Locke is still carrying injuries into the season and, if he is okay, remains injury free. Would love to see either Peyroux or Fish have a breakout year in the number 2 jersey.

As always Ive got my season pass, will buy this seasons jerseys and place my tradional $20 bet at the TAB for the Warriors to win the comp. Do I actually think they will? Hell yeah! I always believe they can and will. One year they might just surprise. Hopefully Im still alive!!!

I havent really had a good look at the other teams to confidently declare any real predictions but I reckon the Tigers and Eels will miss the top 8 and the wooden spoon will be won by the Titans or Panthers or the Tigers if Benji gets injured longterm. Other predictions, Queensland to win Origin 3-0, NZ to win WC, $BW to walk out on the Roosters and Ricky the spastic Stuart to provide plenty of laughs and cop afew fines for slagging off everyone from the new CEO to refs to the 9 year old ball boy...
