I gotta take my hat off to the Mad Butcher. As far as keeping the fans entertained. I certainly take my hat off to him.
While a few here are members of the 'lounge', not many do go there. You have your regulars like Island Magic and his lovely wife, Also Mo, who also is accompanied by his gorgeous missus, and the man I had the privelidge to meet last night. Kaiaora Crusher.
But back to the Mad Butch, the lengths he goes to to give his members a good time. He brings players across for a 'talk'. Last night it was Villa, Ah Van,Webby, Tuimavavae, Manu, and the great Ruben Wiki. They all proved popular with us all.
And he also had a couple of Catalan jerseys to raffle and a Tri-Series signed kiwi jersey.
Then theres the local disco player, 'elvis' who sometimes gets told to 'pump up the beat'
All provided for us by the man himself.
So if ever there would be an award for performer of the day. my vote would go to Peter Leitch, QSM, regularly known to us as the MAD BUTCHER.

Legend is right. The one and only time I went in there for more than 5mins (thanks to a certain someone you know who you are!!) was still pretty good from ym point of view and the Butch was funny as heck!!! Onya Butch!!!

Good to meet you too DMM. My wife and I went on tour with TMB in 2000-7 weeks we were away and man what a tour. 8 of us to start off with and the group grew to 30 odd over the length of the tour. Magic, and Peter and Janice were absoluetly fantastic. For the first 2 weeks Peter drove us all over the wheres in a Mercedes Mini bus and we did the navigating. Hilarious I can tell you. He made me sing a hymn in Maori in Sterling Castle, very humbling even though i might have hit a couple of bum notes. We will always be indebted to the bloke whose energy knows no boundaries - what about nomination for a knighthood team.
