back in 2002 2003 , we had the most feared pack in the comp ...

jerry , tooks , villa the gorilla at his best , awen , and the great wall of samoa , who was voted the player least wanted to start a punch up with
in the nrl .even pj was / is a tough little shit , we also had the best forward in the comp ali ..
......we had famous all in brawls with the broncos , on 2 or 3 occasions , as well as the cowboys , and who could forget monty giving steve reardon a touch up , he landed 4 or 5 punches on reardon before he even knew what hit him ..lol

after seeing the dogs destroy , the tigers , with stand over tactics .. it bought back some good memories .....

we have a big tough pack , but we dont put on the big hits anymore or deck a few opposing players anymore either...... fear factor of the warriors at the moment is alot lower than in the glory days ....

that is true. whatever happen to those gangtackles that will drag the ballcarrier 10m back or those shoulder charges that would make the viewers shiver. we do need to get back to those days.

we still have some tough enforcers. none get harder than ruben wiki. theres louis anderson, sione. but guys like koopu and awen need to step their game up like they used to.

i cant wait to see sonny fai in action. a guy like that has intimidation written all over him!!

George Tuakura aswell, but Ivan is looking for a quiet forward pack who run like gazelles but once they are caught by a lion give up and cant fight back.

I'd prefer the team shows a bit more of the 'skill factor' first.
Intimidation gets you nowhere if you don't know how to catch the ball, set up plays, score tries etc.

Mind you, I'd still rate Wiki and Price as 'intimidating' opponents. although Wiki dosn't seem to be in his best form at the moment.. not sure why.

If Bryce Gibbs head didn't hit the shoulder of O'Melley he was fine it was a fluke knockout.

I still think playing smart is the first thing that is going to start us on a win streak rather than throwing punchs or dropping shoulders.
And if someone tells Wiki to start hitting hard he will be suspended pretty quick.
