It's hard. Not going to give it all away but he's not very tech savvy. He can still access the site - though each page load takes around 5 mins to load, unable to post, and 50% chance each page when loaded goes to a porn site we thought would be better use of his online time (we gotta be able to have fun too!)

To start, I respect the decision that Tahjay has made, and you will never see me contest or try and circumvent it. This is his house, and its a great place to hang out, and I love him and the mods for what they do.

As I said before, I've communicated with Geepee on another platform for a while. On that platform he's been quite open about his full name, where he lives and what he looks like, so its not a case of him pretending to be someone he isn't in his dealings with me.

If you think back to the top 5 off field issues/movements of the last 12 months, for two of them Geepee told me precisely what was happening days before I heard any whisper of it anywhere else. Due to the podcast I have lots of people DMing me things, some who claim to be periphally around the club (and some of who probably actually are). No one was even close to the ballpark on those two issues.

Geepee has also told me many things that didn't end up happening. Is it possible that Geepee just got lucky those two times (and there are others)? It's possible, but I really doubt it. I think he got mail from somewhere. Bit I also think its right that he spends lots of time on socials and 'aggregates' public rumours as though its private mail. I also think his tone on here was often off-putting, which turned poeople off.

Theres a bit of talk on this thread about the Isaac Liu rumour. If you look at the recruitment thread, you will see that NZ Warriors Faithful started that rumour, and Geepee was adamant from the start that it wasn't going to happen, which proved to be correct.

Theres also a bit of talk about his spelling. I'm happy to rip shit on blokes as much as anyone, but I find it a bit odd that people are having a go about spelling on a footy forum, when there are likely players we spend ages talking about on here that can't spell worth a damn. There are plenty of reasons why someone might struggle with spelling, and I'm not sure that you can take the high moral ground while ripping someone about that.

I have no doubt Geepee is reading this thread, and if Mt Wellington is correct that he is isolated and spends all day reading forums and trying to engage with people about the Warriors, then I suspect he is having a really tough Friday night.

Yep agreed. And to be fair to wrighty I removed some of his posting abilities last few days so I could have a few conversations with him to uncover some of the info that was shared between them when it became apparent he was being used by him. Wrighty to his credit was very honest and helped us make the decision we made, despite being told to lie when contacted by me. That we certainly appreciate.

I agree with your sentiment. We don’t know what goes through others minds and their state of well being. I am guilty of a spelling quip..

Look, ive had a little chuckle at this thread as I feel I was one of the guys who would often call him out, but at the end of the day it sounds like he's a hardcore supporter and he's done a bit of dumb shit for some clout. While I don't agree with what he's done, it must be hard for the bloke and despite everything, I hope he's all good and might b able to reevaluate some of his decisions and come out the other end better off.

I have always been a bit of a gullible person who gives people the benefit of the doubt.
After Zero Tackle posted the Isaac Liu deal was about to be signed. He messaged me out of the blue and told me I could share that "the deal has fallen through as Titans won't pay freight".
His information was so detailed it was believable.
I am sorry for being taken in. And passing on unfounded rumours.

Don’t sweat it bud, we’ve all been sucked in somewhere down the line. Beauty of forums is there’s all types posting all bringing something different to the table and your posts are just as valid as everyone elses. It just sucks that someone used you for their own game

FYI some infrequent users sometimes create duplicate accounts accidentally due to forgetting they already have an account. Sometimes these are merged, if no posts then not. Also, deleted posts will not be visible.

I am also very concerned how anybody would take an entire thread all about them. Hope he is ok.
I guess Fonzie like you I have had to wrestle with was he legit or just talented at extrapolating from tidbits. There were one or two red flag rumours which seemed to be siomehing too juicy or too perfect if that makes sense. Rumours that too perfectly ticked all the right boxes of what a warriors fan would want to hear. Perhaps you can relate.

Anyway KiaKaha Geepee. There is a forum out there somewhere that will appreciate you.

There were certainly moments where that seemed to be happening - and I'd like to give benefit of doubt that users did not know that other posters were also cross reporting rumours fed to them by geepee.

One thing I can definitely say is that if you tell one person something, and tell that person that they cannot tell it to anyone - you can most certainly be assured they will tell atleast one random on an internet forum/social media. And so and so on.

Just to be clear - he was given an out to come clean. When that web of lies grew an even bigger depth, and lies about his bro in law logging in (who apparently uses the same posting style), and then telling another member to lie for him - that was the final straw. I have sympathy at a certain level as he lives a very different life to many on here, but to just build on lies when I ask nicely for a please explain is a bridge too far.

People can vouch that I can be extremely to the point and sometimes be grumpy, and I don't mean to be. I don't want endless to and fro in msgs with one line replies due to being time poor. So another layer of lies doesn't help my mood.
