General Neil Brady

Sad to hear of the passing of Neil Brady
Former Richmond player.
Neil was 79 and apparently passed away in Dubbo NSW.
After football Neil became a trotting trainer in Auckland. Training his horses often on Pakiri beach.

Did he train and drive Franco Ice to win two heats of the Interdominions in 1991 at Alexandra Park.
And in the final he was checked badly a lap out when looking to improve and roared home for a seriously unlucky third after being held up.
A travesty beaten.
Not 100% sure Neil drove but if not it was someone who put him in the race every time.
