im quickly going to forget about tonights preformance and think towards next week. id imagine we will be without wiki and im assuming webby will be back.

1.B. Webb - apparently should be fit for this game so he slots straight back into the side
2.P. Ah Van/C. Vuna (i really couldnt decide)
3.T. Martin - we dont have anyone else unless we use ropati
4.S. Mannering - is consistently preforming and proving to be a handful for opposition defences
5.M. Vatuvei - went alriiiiiight tonight
6.G. Rovelli - with him and lance running the show our kicking game will improve and we will have more options
7.L. Hohaia - give him a go, we have nothing to lose now
8.E. Tuimivave - he comes in for the expected loss of rubes, we have no1 else to start, rapira is certainly not up to it.
9.N. Fien - needs to play more game time
10.S. Price (C)
11.A. Guttenbeil - he will start as its his testimonial
12.M. Luck - was one of our best tonight, tackled and ran hard all night
13.L. Anderson - his stats say it all from tonights game, he made 50 tackles so he deserves his spot

14.J. Ropati - here purely for utility value and still better than gatis
15.G. Tuakura - honestly i really dont think sam rapira is ready for first grade, big george cant be any worse
16.S. Faumuina - was very quiet tonight so maybe a stint off the bench will spark him
17.E. Lauaki/S. Fai - wairangi has played 51 consecutive games and i think he needs a break, his form has been effortless... like he expects to be in the top side week in week out so give him a rest

great team i think. now that the our playoff hopes are over we need to start giving other players a chance. lance hohaia at halfback, cooper vuna at wing, tuakura and fai on the bench are decent changes.
hope ivan cleary considers those changes.

If you were going to take manu of the wing i would put vuna in his place and not byrne.

I think that would break down the partnership that Rovelli and Vatuvei have had of late with Rovelli's bombs. Vatuvei deserves his spot, maybe there is a spot for him in the forwards in the future but right now he should be kept in just one position.

that's true, with Rovelli picking Vatuvei with bombs aginast opposition wingers remidns me alot of what Stacey and Meli do in tormenting their opponets all the time. don't break up a good thing like that
