hmm im abit worried about our prop options next week as pricey will almost certainly be out with SOO duties and a chance evarn could get suspended, but for the time being i will say evarn wont get suspended.
1.B. Webb
2.M. Vatuvei (if he isnt available for selection then im rlly afraid we will see mr byrne come back)
3.T. Martin
4.S. Mannering
5.M. Taulapapa
6.J. Ropati
7.G. Rovelli
8.R. Wiki (C)
9.N. Fien
10.E. Tuimivave
11.W. Koopu
12.L. Anderson
13.S. Faumuina

14.L. Hohaia
15.G. Tuakura
16.S. Rapira
17.A. Guttenbeil
i was going to go with sonny fai on the bench aswell but i think thats a little risky have 3 debutants on the bench, also without pricey i think we need to run with 2 props on the bench to have continuous go forward. this bench offers alot compared to yesterday of
gatis
tuimivave
luck
toopi

My changes would be...

3/ Ropati
4/ Koopu

6/ Fien
7/ Rovelli

9Anderson

10 Tuimavavae [Price ??]

why would you shift Fein when he probaly had his best game for the club at 9.

1webb
2 ah van, if manu can't play
3 Martin
4 Mannering
5 Talapapa
6 Ropati
7 Rovelli
8 Wiki
9 Fein
10 Price
11 Sione
12 Koopu
13 Anderson

14 Hohia or another young half if he isn't fit
15 Guttenbeil
16 Tuamavae
17 Sonny Fai

I don't think Gattis or Luck warrant playing next week for the warriors.

1 Webb
2 Vuna
3 Martin
4 Mannering
5 Taulapapa
6 Ropati I guess
7 Rovelli
8 Wiki (captain)
9 Fien
10 Tuimavave
11 Guttenbeil
12 Koopu
13 Faumuina

Bench

Rapira
Tuakara
Hohaia or Karena (dependent on injury)
Fai

18th man: Luck

As far as it being too risky to have three debutants on the bench, granted I don't think it will happen, I think it'll be a positive look forward for the club. We need some impact off the bench.

If I look at the Dragons bench, they had Ndaira, Leano and Wicks who had probably 3 first grade games between them, and they went well. If you're good enough, you're old enough.

Thats of course if Price is selected for Origin, and Vatuvei is out. Bear in mind, Tuimavave may be out too due to his spear tackle, in which case Luck comes onto the bench and Tuakara moves into start.

I agree with the sentiment that he's playing tired right now, his form really isn't up to scratch.

Louis is your basic, hard working type player, no frills. Unfortunately when average errors creep into your game it really takes away your value. Also, I'm looking for a bit of variation in the pack, not the stock standard three pronged back rowers tackling but doing little offensively.

Fair enough my only concern is that Sonny Fai, as i understand it is having his first game on monday after his injury.
I didn't take that into consideration for my team either.
I see your point there Iafeta, however IMO Sione shouldn't be in the middle of the feild for much of the game as I thought he was on saturday.
Id rather see him 20-25 metres from the sideline where there is more space, giving him the opurtunity to create for his outside men.

I totally agree that our forward back doesn't ask a hell of alot of questions.

I cnahnge my mind, Kav first proposed Webb to stand of as I know it on this forum and that is what I think gives us the best chance at winning.

1 Talapapa
2 Ah Van
3 Martin
4 Mannering
5 Vatuvei or Brynne if Manu is injured
6 Webb
7 Rovelli
8 Wiki
9 Fein
10 Price/Tuamavae
11 Sione
12 Koopu
13 Anderson

14 Hohia
15 Guttenbeil
16 Tuakara
17 Fai/ Tuamavae

1. Webb
2. Ah Van/Byrne
3. Martin
4. Ropati
5. Taulapapa
6. Rovelli
7. Fein
8. Wiki (C)
9. Hohaia
10. Tuamavave
11. Mannering
12. Faumuina
13. Anderson

14. Koopu
15. Rapira
16. Gatis
17. Guttenbiel

I understand Hohaia is available and unless Ivan has done a total turn around, he will put Fein back to 7. Feineys D is awesome and if Hohaia gets his A game going, I can see more space for the halves being created. 3 kicking options sounds good to me. Mannering will provide a different option in the forwards and has the nous and size to be a bloody good ballplaying second row/lock. I like Ropati at centre as he hasn't got confused with the Sunday Evenings Dancing Spectacular on TV1.

I guess all shall be revealed when it's announced tomorrow.

Very happy to see no nung nuts have toopi in the team. I hope cleary doesn't ruin it for everyone. Can you imagine toops without priceys leadership, frickin chaos.

Webbs to good for 1 hes just being wasted, puting him in 5/8 is genius, whoever thought of it.
Ravs is a halfback so leave him there.

1ropati

Webb at stand off is one thing. Not sure about genius but it's a move that could work because Webb has the skills. Ropati at fullback though? There has to be a better replacement than him surely. Taulapapa, Vuna, Byrne, Wiki? Anyone.
