From what I heard about Lance's game on Friday in PL it was a shocker so I wouldn't be putting him at half anywhere right now.

As for the starters, I still don't know. I haven't really decided who should be the other center. I know we all say Ropo but I'm still uncertain. He's good there no doubt but I'm thinking more of a specialist that we may have.

Forwards seem to sort themselves out

still two people to be signed... thats why second row looks a bit thin. agree with millwall, but rovelli 7, and henderson bench. thats what i think and should happen next year.

Hohaia's performance on Friday was terrible and should lay to rest any thoughts of him ever playing number 7. He could still play 6 though, just no long kicks....

Whatever way you look at it its a good 17-20 players when they are playing with confidence (they look good this year, when they have their tails up, and next year they will be even better on paper!)

Confidence really seems to be the key.

P.S. OK, Lance at 6 or 9 but I'd still have him in my team.

I would to, it's just figurieng out which suits him best. lol. At this stage I suppose I would put him ahead of Henderson (only coz I haven't seen this bloke before)

Great minds think alike. It's hard to tell when injuries/form can't be taken into it this far out, but the biggest selection headaches seem to be with what to do with Ropati/Hohaia. Assuming Witt and ROvelli continue the way they've been going the past 2 weeks I've got no problem with them holding onto their positions even if I feel they lack a strong running game to trouble the better sides (Witt has begun to run more).

I'm keen on giving Lauaki a starting spot, or at the very least an extra ten minutes on the field just to see if he can sustain the performance he's been putting in over the last month for longer periods.

Ah Van is a centre waiting to happen whether it's next year or the year after. I want to see what he can do in a one on on situation. He doesn't get much chance on the wing and lacks the speed of someone like Crockett to burn them on the outside.

Looking at our potential teams I'd say we're going to be relying on team performances rather than individual performances to win us games, but that can be both a negative (not having individual brilliance to break a game open) and a positive (not relying on just a couple of players).

Absolutely spot on KTF.

I feel Lauaki deserves to spend a bit more time on the field, the short bursts he has is worthwhile and definitely helps but I think the more time he can spend on the field then it probably takes some of the pressure off the other forwards.

Look at the identical sides you and Jes put up, I have the feelings there are some individual players in there but they also need a team performance to back it up. Could work both ways really with the team performance setting the stage and the individuals doing the other bit. Sort of like the Penrith game on Friday.

I agree with your points, but just thought I'd mention that mine and KTF's teams aren't identical. I have no Malo Solomona, and he has no Lance Hohaia. Our views on Ropati differ slightly, too.

But for the most part, we're pretty close! :D
