I received the sixth and final issue of this season's Super League Magazine in the letterbox today. This one is 40 pages, instead of the usual 32, and costs only $5 from The Mad Butcher. I highly recommend you get this magazine and support Robin Smith, the editor, who funds this venture entirely off his own back. Here is what he had to say about this issue in an email a few days ago:
Robin Smith said:Planning has already started for 2007 because we need to start a month earlier and most certainly finish at least a month later - there is just so much going on.
In Edition six we take a closer look at the up-coming Gillette Tri-Nations and the Kiws v NZ Residents match in Greymouth, Simon Mannering and Evarn Tuimavave, Kurt Sorenson, Kevin Tamati, Bernie Perenara, Phil Campbell, Keith Andrews, Maurice Neiman, and John Ackland, the Vodafone Warriors Development tour, Masters RL, Dave McLeod, Willie Poching, Dave Loudon, Glenora Bears 75th, East Coast Bays 30th, a look all around the country from Southland, Otago, West Coast, Wellington, Manawatu, Taranaki and Auckland and more.
All the feature writers are back and there are a wealth of photographs. Make sure we're back bigger, brighter and better next year.
