I think the opposite will happen. They'll come out committed in dee and run hard. They'll have a few scoring oppurtunites but come up short. 10 minutes before halftime the storm will score a couple in quick succession. Then carry on with it after half time and score a few more tries. But we show way more heart & attitudes are better despite the scoreline.

That's the usual script for sure. I have just found that the Storm are the best team at identifying our weaknesses and exploiting them early before we compensate. Being clinical and ruthless on the short-comings of others has historically been what sets them apart from the also-rans

They'll have worked out a couple of players to isolate, test the fringes early and probably will have a plan to kick often that could easily expose us early.

Who knows, maybe Payten's plan will be to attack first rather than just trying to stay in the game. Gain points from an attack first approach and the referee has less ability to swing the arm wrestle.

And a huge upside... no Matt Chechin! We're in with a chance...oh, hang on it's Cummings, wasn't he the one that ruled on the Storm award last year?
Fusitua out I see, wonder why? but I see Dear Lattrell played last night. I wanna know what's wrong with Mitchell like everyone else gets called by their surname???
Pity his error ridden game was not against us, perhaps a guilty conscious feeling showing through??
The Storm game last year was a Cecchin special!

My pick is that they will play with pride, but come out of the blocks slow. 18-0 to Storm after 18 minutes and then an even game for the next 45.
Can I get a run down on the remaining 17 minutes mate? Or is that Wheel of Fortune time?

Reports out that Stacey Jones having more of a say in our attack in the wake of Kearney leaving. Would love to know why that wasnt always the case since he was a champion half for the Warriors/NZ and is surrounded by other coaches who have all played in the forwards. Was his role to simply put out the cones at training before or something?

Previously he was just the "halves coach", while Peyton was in charge of the attack. Sounds like he is now stepping into Peyton's old role.

Isnt halves integral to the attack? Or have they siloed everything again...

Anyway i read that he was our attack coach in 2017 along with McFadden.

We are also historically known for not making the finals.

Cameron Smith is the world's second biggest C. And we both know why that is, right :p
I don't get the Cameron Smith hate when you have c's like Latrine Mitchell who tried to decapitate Fusitua - Smith isn't a dirty player from memory. Could be a cracker of a game as Storm v Warriors can usually be or a complete slogging by the Storm after losing last week.

It’s stacked against us. 2 rookie props starting the game, no pace at the back & our up & coming rookie backrower is injured. I’d be amazed if we won & as much as I was in the get Kearney out camp a good send off would be nice for the bloke. I wonder if the players will put the words “errrrm” or “you know” on their wrist plasters as a sign of respect 🤔

I fear it could get ugly tonight...

I don’t think they’re ready for a fight

Boys don’t sound like they’re in the right frame of mind

they’ll go hard for the first10 then begin to crack when the first try is scored...
Sounds like a typical Warriors game.........

I honestly don't understand how a supporter can wait to see a result and watch a replay. I clear 80 minutes every weekend to ensure I watch it live no matter what. My wife, friends family know I am always unavailable during the game

I was like this but then got fed up and care less about the team unfortunately.

I will try to watch the game, but will be quick to turn it off if we start to get pumped.

I just can't. I have to watch every minute. I am however a firm believer in it making me enjoy those good moments so much more

I'm just the same. Couldn't even miss a minute in the 9 game losing streak a couple of years ago.

Yeah I'm the same. As soon as I know the result most of the appeal of watching disappears, even if my side has won. If I can't watch live then I basically go full hermit until I can see a replay - no social media, no news, no messaging.

Same here. Hate watching a game when I know the score.

I just can’t imagine we’ve somehow learned how to play expansive football in the last 7 days.

I had a $30 freebet, and wanted to put it on the warriors for a win, but just couldn’t even do that.

Wishing the boys the best, but it had been a long time since I went into a game believing an upset could be pulled off by the warriors

The lads sound defeated already, player for player this screams 50+ hiding, Addo Carr to get most of their points. Keep it under 40 and we will have done well, if we somehow win forget about Toovs and Hook, Peyton will be Jesus.
