Can't happen, they're on the same side of the draw and will meet in the semis
RS_Dragon said:In that case either the Storm or the Dragons will meet the Dogs in the GF.

I wouldn't rule out the Knights yet, that was a tough game of footy on Friday night.

That win over the Broncos was the first time they had beaten a top 8 side since round 15. All their wins since then had come against sides who finished outside the top 8 and each time they played a side in the top 8 they lost including two losses to the Bulldogs where they were outplayed completely. They also got hammered by the Eels, Raiders and Storm in that time.
They have a good record v the Broncos who they have now beaten three times from three this year but you watch them fold either this week v the Sea Eagles or the week after.
They get talked up EVERY YEAR by the..... Sydney media who dominate the rugby league media and of course the Dragons are from...... Sydney.
Their record v the top 8 sides this year is now 6 wins (3 v the Broncos) and 7 losses. The STorm beat them comfortably both times as did the Bulldogs both times.
Their only other wins were a two point win over the Sea Eagles a 30 point hiding of the Knights who beat them by 50 points the first time the sides met, and the infamous 8-1 win over the Eels who were second from last at the time.
The Dragons have the razzle dazzle, but the second the going gets tough they bugger off into an early off season. They have made the playoffs 4 out of the last 6 seasons and been talked up but have been knocked out before the grand final each time.
I think it will be a Storm v Bulldogs final with the Storm winning because despite having the most physically talented side with all the size the Bulldogs aren't smart enough when the pressure comes on.
-Dr.J- said:Yeah the Dragons haven't looked that hot lately, they smashed the Bronco's but I think the Bronc's play headgames on themselves with this finals hoodoo of theirs. They'll prolly beat Manly though (that's who they're playing innit?)
The Dragons will be without the service of Mr. Gasnier as well I think.
