How predictable is it getting. If I was Manly I would get Stewart to practice catching bombs all week as that is 90% of our attacking play on the 5th. It was so predictable that Faumuina joined in with a bomb towards the end.
I would like to see some pressure put on with some variations. Maybe a kick ingoal (Brent Webb has the most educated boot in the team) so he needs to come in at 2nd reciever and grubber in goal. Infact, was it not Rovelli that but a grubber in for Fien? It would have been interesting to see what Fien would have done on that play if he got the ball at first reciever. I would have a guess that he would have put another bomb up.
It is becoming far too predictable. And I think because Fien was bombing so much he made that line break where the Knights were rushing up to try and take him out. That was the only positive that came from the bombs.
We need more repeat sets of sixes and also take the ball to the fringe and ask Ruben Wiki and Tuimavave to charge onto the ball for a poor centre or five eigth to tackle. Remember Ruben's try Vs the Roosters last year? Would like to see more of that as part of our variation on the 5th tackle.
