General Steve Price on NRL on Fox

Just heard that Steve Price will be on the show tonight (it is on Foxtel in Australia, not sure if you guys get it). It's Live and he is on in a couple of minutes...

1. We need to be mentally stronger to win the close games. Ala losing 7-8 games last year by only a few points.
2. Thinks the team is much fitter than 2004.
3. Cleary's best point is his ability to talk to the players, always up beat etc.
4. Rates Gatis... Worked hard in the off season.
5. Salary cap. Said he thought he was doing the right thing. Then made a very nice change of topic! His contract was on 2 pieces of paper and he asked Mick & Spiro (more than once) if it was both shown to the NRL and they said yes, but only one was shown.
6. Wants to keep playing rep football.

I was impressed. He basically professed his love for the game, why he still plays, why he'll continue playing Origin, he rates Gatis, rates Ivan, dropped some weight for this year, had a good off season personally - its all good.
