Poor choice. NSW were always sky blue with dark blue chevrons, why do they need an alternate??
The don’t need an alternative it’s just a money spinner. Seems particularly odd that they’re using it for the Perth game which is supposed to be”growing the game” with an unfamiliar jersey.

Its only 2 weeks away and i see we have the bye before the first origin, so that means we dont play a origin weakened side as they have to rest their players, conspiracy theory anyone LOL !

We play the Storm 3 days after but those boys usually back up.

There are only two potential bye rounds this year, so you either get it in Round 12 or Round 16. So in Round 16 we will play the Knights who will be without Ponga and Klemmer (maybe even Ramien and Pearce).

This has happened because Game 2 is on a Sunday, the same weekend as Rep Round.

We have a pretty favourable draw throughout Origin and won't have any representatives this year. Good chance to pick up some wins.

6. Cody Walker
7. Nathan Cleary
8. David Klemmer
9. Damien Cook
10. Paul Vaughan
11. Boyd Cordner
12. Tyson Frizell
13. Jake Trbojevic

17. Angus Crichton

Love me some Jmoz, will lock down the right edge of Pong Dong and Munster nicely. Cotric is an interesting one, some decent form this season but has a WTF moment in him most games. Big daddy Klem has been in some almighty form for Newy this season, hope he tears in. Fighton is a good utility, can cover whole backline and big enough to play rover in middle. Haas and Murray's energy off the bench will be immense. Would have preferred Matterson or Maclean over Chricton, he can consider himself lucky he was there last year because he has been rubbish for the Chooks. Halves is abit of who was left to pick one, Cleary will need to be the driver so Walker, Cook, and Teddy can play off the back of it. Can Cleary do that?? Unsure, but hope he goes well. Has been one of Penrith's best in a very dire team this season.

Agree about Crichton, either one of the ones you mentioned i think would be better, i would have gone for Maclean personally. Good to see Cotric in there, for all the commentators that bang on about other players like Ponga & Mitchell (not saying they don't deserve it just get sick of hearing about them) this kid go's about doing his business for Canberra, i like the look of him, & think his selection is well deserved. Now waiting for the Queensland team. ;)

All my life I've backed Q

Then last year I turned my back on them to support NSW.

Why......... I can't stand DCE.

Really looking forward to the Origin Series this year, it seems very well matched.

I think the lack of hooker for Queensland will cause them problems.

Kevvy Walters seemed like a lunatic last night on NRL360, serious doesn't suit him.

The halves headache for NSW was pretty crazy, but they're all very good players when it comes down to it.

Roll on next Wednesday night!

Also, how's this : The NSW halves pairing of Cody Walker and Nathan Cleary both made their NRL debuts in 2016 and there's an 8 year age gap between the two of them.
