Anyone else into this?

I've never been a gambler, maybe 10 bucks on the pokies at the RSA or 10 bucks on the Melbourne cup, that's it.

A couple weeks ago I opened an account on a sports betting site and just stuck $20 in, I just do multi bets $1-$5 bets. I'm up about 600%. I tipped all the winners of last weeks round and just stuck $1 on, got a hundy back. I have to admit it's pretty adictive, but as long as I'm not betting big sums of dollars I don't think it'll become an issue. Adds a bit of extra excitement to the weekends games.

I've got Raiders winning -12 going into Knights winning -12 tonight for $5, pays $150.

I've got an 8 leg multi on over the weekend that I put $5 on and if all my teams win it's paying $2000.

Actually I made 4 bets on 4 different combinations of teams winning. The one I had the least faith in/put the least money on, won.

I had a big multi on the premier league the other day, was gonna pay back a fair bit and then MAN UNITED lost to Wigan. FFS! Killed my multi.

Wow, a perfect round in NRL tipping/betting is actually pretty rare. If you did that in AFL tipping you'd get a free whopper from HJ's...

I never got into multi's. Mainly because every time I tried, I'd add some 'sure bet' like the Storm paying $1.25 on the end just to sweeten it a bit, and the sure thing would end up costing me.

Lol, funny story. I was watching Waiders vs Rooters in 2006 with Legoman, and he had $10 on a SKD first try scorer/Waiders 13+ result paying 50-1. SKD scores the first try. Waiders winning comfortably (20+) until the final 20 mins when they let Rooters score a couple, margin down to 10 I think it was, Waiders hot on attack and Alan Tongue takes the field goal as consolation instead of going for the try. Potential $500 gone right there.

One thing I've found - I bet on union/league/football/cricket...

On the odd occasion I've done a multibet that's involved tennis (and I always pick the shortest odds), that's the sport that kills the bet.

I only ever multi-bet small on, as I say above, always picking the teams with the shortest odds ie $1.01-$1.25...

My pet hate is picking a team to win 1-12 or 13+ or Pts Start and losing the bet by 1 pt.

for those not willing to put real cash down there is this site monte.co.nz that uses real odds and can still be fun trying to boost your total week to week. I used to play it many years ago with a mate and just made a new account today. put $400 out of my starting $500 on the warriors to get the win tomorrow.

What are the EPL results you require?

multis are great when it works out...but dont go crazy on them. lately ive been doing the best on nba games with margin multi bets.
