Why would you swap Manu and CNK? Yeah Manu is a better player than Charnze, but he’s also a better player than their left centre as well, is Charnze. Probably not, at least not from a positioning perspective. At least we KNOW Charnze can do a job at fullback.

Hooker is a little concerning. It is what it is.
Ahhh yeah dah....no way Manu replaces CNK at FB.

The only reason Manu got the gig is that we were short there. CNK's rise has removed that calculus.

Madge would have to be an idiot to play two guys out of position that are specialists.

Also, international rugby league just now is stacked with star Centers, it would be nuts not to use a star center in the NZ backline to counter that.

What makes a NZ A side ? Who makes the squad ? What are they from our Sky Sport future Warriors team and NSW cup team ? Is it a b side NZ team ? Or all of the above ? 🤔

There are two teams below the Kiwis and they have a long history, NZ A is not new.

It is easier to start with the other team which is the NZ residents team, as the name implies it is for NZ based players.

The NZ A side is what you call a Kiwis b side, a shadow team from anywhere. Their main function historically was two fold, one to bring players into the fold who missed the Kiwis and two to play against the Kangaroos and others mid week when they used to tour NZ.

Fuifui Moimoi was selected for NZ A out of the Parramatta Eels system without ever being in the Kiwis. That is an example of what NZ A is.

Thanks for the history recap Sup, didn't know NZ A were a separate midweek side 👍

I don't care. I wish I did. But the perversion of club and NRL over international league is a stoopid summama biscuit kind of monopoly.

I want every player striving for their national teams. But hey apparently the garbage media marketing says that State of origin is the "pinnacle".

This is such a suck example of tokenism.

And I can't even pick a full team from the slim pickings available. Having said all this I wish the Kiwis all the best and hope we go good. Is Te Whare an option anywhere in the team?

Moimoi did grow up in Auckland also played in the Bartercup back in 02 why he went onto play for us, can't change rules that have been around for a long time now

Purely to see Manu get his hands more on the pill. I would say Manu offers more on attack. Just.

Oz will still be favourites, some of these departures may even things up a bit more.
