Phenomenal fan support for the One New Zealand Warriors continues unabated with confirmation today that the round 16 Go Media Stadium clash against Penrith has been declared a sell out more than four weeks in advance.

After falling just short of selling all tickets for the first home game of the season against Manly Warringah in March, the Warriors have put up the sold-out sign for five games straight against the Sydney Roosters, Brisbane, Newcastle, Canberra and now the four-times premiership-winning Panthers.

That follows last year's record feat when the Warriors became the first club in the competition’s history to sell out every home game in a season, following on from eight of 12 games being sold out in 2023.

Since returning home after their enforced three-year stay in Australia during the Covid years, the Warriors boast the astonishing achievement of selling out 24 of their last 27 NRL games in New Zealand.

“It’s impossible to find the right words for our supporters who just keep showing what the club means to them,” said One New Zealand Warriors CEO Cameron George.

“Even in our challenging periods last season they were always there for the team when every game was sold out.

“This year we’ve had games selling out weeks in advance of being played and now it has happened again for the match against the Panthers.

“When we came home we said we wanted to give the fans a team they could be proud. What we have over and above that is fans who couldn’t make us prouder.

“They’re unbelievable not just here at home but equally in Australia. They’re the best in the game.”

Burgeoning support for the One New Zealand Warriors both in New Zealand and Australia has seen total attendances of more than half a million for their regular season games in the last two campaigns; the 500,000 mark in a season had never been achieved before in the club's 30-year history.

That barrier is on track to be matched again this year with a total attendance of 262,173 already reached for the Warriors’ 10 games so far.
