I’m no soccer expert but it was pretty obvious he was diving (and being rewarded for it) every time he got the ball- it was hard to watch.
Plus the handball….

Again, I don’t really know enough about soccer to comment but it did seem u got the short end of the stick.
Definitely some controversy in this round and I’m not sure the better teams won tbh.

He missed the blatant foul on Saka that led to the first French goal and the one on Kane in the first half that should have been a penalty. He wasn’t up to standard, should have been a European ref

Some countries but largely the South Americans plus Portugal don’t care about the integrity of the game as long as they win. They’ll kick, dive and cheat all day long. I hope it never appears in RL and why I posted last year after Cleary goaded the South’s players following Crichton’s GF intercept try, he deserved a kick up the arse from his Dad and I hope he got one
