Both Ridge and Vagana were suspended for that incident with the ref against the Tigers. I think they were complaining that the match winning field goal was touched but by then they'd changed the rules so that it didn't matter.

I could be wrong, but hey it made a nice story.

As for Slater...well he's just dumb. Hill's shove on the ref, I think that is debateable. The ref was in the wrong place at the wrong time

He got done for raking the face of Lesley Vainikolo I believe. Not exactly the first person I'd be looking to pick a fight with.

As for Slater, he deserves everything he gets. And I think the most he could hope for is a wing spot. He hasn't started the year that well and Bowen is looking almost unstoppable. Not to mention the constant rumours of Lockyer going back to Fullback.

What sort of kick did Slater give Skandalis?
I missed the incident but was watching later in the game when Slater scored a try and the crowd gave him loads of stick. I couldn't really understand why he was getting so much abuse from the stands and figured he must have done something a bit dodgy earlier on.
It had to have been pretty bad to get the crowd riled like that.

Just from NRL on fox in Australia Slater's been rubbed out for 7 games, won't be back till rd 13 and he'll miss the first origin. Ouch...
