Ropati?
Is that like a sympathy vote for all the time is spent on the side injured?
The rest looks about right.
Not sure about PJ Marsh.
It’s a pretty meh team for 25 years which matches our record.
Ruben Wiki used to be a gun center before moving to prop. Take note Ken Maumalo and Stephen Kearney.
Strange then we would let a player go close to his prime who then we include in our team of 25 years lol.
Not sure what Sky is trying to achieve with this list but I'd have Luck, Campion and Friend for the intangible but profound impact they each had on Warriors "culture", the uncompromising mindset that lifted our local boys to the next level. Those guys were the point of difference that enabled us to take our natural flair to another dimension for brief periods when we were hot. Sadly we've barely even got one dimension these says.Personally would have Michael Luck in there instead of AG
Just imagine! We would of made the top 8!Can't really argue with that team, a few good bench players to add to that as well ... what a shame they never all played at the same time..
Yep agree I would of had mannering in the back rowNot sure what Sky is trying to achieve with this list but I'd have Luck, Campion and Friend for the intangible but profound impact they each had on Warriors "culture", the uncompromising mindset that lifted our local boys to the next level. Nathan Friend over PJ, imagine how many games him and Simon won for us by stubbornly refusing to drop their lips and give up tackling. Kearney was pretty fukn good at it too when the club started out, but it looks like he can't lure over the kind of players he really wants to coach. Hopefully we can trick someone like Josh Jackson into signing and then the floodgates might open on the recruitment page.
PJ Marsh was the best hooker we ever had, unfortunately he suffered a crippling injury mid way through 2003, if he hadn't we may of made the Grand Final in 2003 and won it too.Ropati?

What he started with? He had the biggest and best forwards we ever had. He had Stacey, Meli, Faafili, Toopi.Definitely Anderson for Coach by a country mile. What he achieved with how and what he started out with was superb.... . Some other minor changes, but not too fussed.
Bench would be Faumuina, Villasanti, Seuseu, Hohaia. What a monster pack. And yeah I'd swap Ropati for Nigel. Can't really argue with that team, a few good bench players to add to that as well ... what a shame they never all played at the same time..
