General SKY TV not working

im am so board, sense sky digital is not working Missed the League show.
and all the CSI's and SVU Law & Order etc

Their tv 'coverage' is down...their phones are down...their websites down
hopfully its fixed before the footyshow start's @ 10:30 tonight.

what is everyone else doing to keep themselfs busy?

A satellite position problem has taken Sky television off the air tonight throughout New Zealand and Australia.

A spokesperson for Sky says the Optus B satellite which sits above New Zealand and Australia has suffered an outage after a routine repositioning manouevre.

He says Optus has advised it will take approximately three hours to fix the problem.

Sky channels have been off the air since about 7pm Thursday night.

Sky TV says it apologises to its viewers, and is posting updates on the outage on the its website www.skytv.co.nz.

we do get it free to air but not live.

aye the outage sucks. had to watch comander in chief on normal tv and the picture was bad because i don't think our aeril was plugged in

Glad to see this thread, as my partner/mate at home told me Sky Digital was out and even my sisters ordinary Sky was out. He said it said rain fade and I asked is it raining outside.
I am a shift worker (night shift 6.00pm to 6.00am) at 3M.

I am in the lab (QC) so I have a seat and not many tests to be done. I am having a good look at things on here as I havn't had much time to see whats going on in here of late.

Hehe, yeah, TV3 were doing live updates from outside Sky's headquarters, which are literally just around the corner from our house, so my wife and I did a few drive-bys, lol! :lol:
