As someone mentioned elsewhere, making a play for Leo Thompson in 2025 could be a very smart move
Naufahu Whyte locked up for 3 years at the roosters. Noticing all these young props coming through have an intimidating factor, like Thompson as you mentioned. Saw recently his brother who plays rugby for Hawke’s Bay wants to give league a go. Trey Mooney is another that come November can be negotiated with, like the look of him.

BULLDOGS’ NEWEST RECRUITMENT DRIVE.

Warriors forward Josh Curran is set to leave the New Zealand-based club after being given permission to negotiate with other teams.

Now a potential suitor has firmed, with the SMH reporting he sat down for a meeting with the Bulldogs on Saturday.

The 24-year-old has a contract with the Warriors until the end of next season but could fall victim to the club’s salary cap pressures.

If he is able to find another club, Curran will be free to walk and could join a host of recruits landing in Belmore.

He mostly started off the bench for the Warriors, averaging 45 minutes a game. He recorded 52 metres and over 21 tackles per game.

Ciraldo is reportedly a fan of Curran, who has the ability to play in multiple positions in the forward pack.

There's 0% chance we're able to sign Fisher-Harris, right?

He'd be the perfect signing given he is an alpha prop and captain material with strong ties to NZ, but he seems deeply entrenched in Penrith.

He's contracted to 2026 and I don't see Penrith moving him on for any reason. It was something watching the kiwis vs Samoa game. So many kiwi born studs not playing for the wahs, especially forwards. Really hope with some continuing success and the pathways getting re set up we can retain more of the high end talent coming from NZ.

We have Zyon Maiu’u, he’s pretty intimidating. Small in stature but Sifakula as well

Yip, these armchair coaches who have seen enough of any player after 5 games as a 20 year old need to start offering their services to the NRL. Most clubs would prefer to get rid of all those juniors who aren't going to make it, it's just a drain on the club's resources otherwise. SJ and Cleary calibre of players only or we don't need them!

I'll miss some of you guys on here, but your talents are clearly needed in the big leagues 🙃

We'd need to offer $1m p/season to be considered.

As you say he seems so entrenched in Penrith but also with a bit of a chip on his shoulder about the Warriors development missing his recruitment.

I'd pay either of him or Joe Tapine marquee $...
