Interesting as SK came out publicly and said he wasn't behind offloading SJ. Sounds like head office throwing their weight around.
You’re putting credibility because of what SK said publicly? 😂

Let’s not mix up which management made said decisions

I’m reading it as his own management team and not the Warriors head office

As mentioned before management should be working for you, however I would imagine the relationship between player and manager is not always balanced and what input does a player get in the decisions especially when cash money is involved.

Also as mentioned SJ maybe homesick and has some regrets.

I would take him back at reduced rates

Was talking to the uncle of Shark Brayden Nikora on my flight down to Wellington for the Sharks game and besides telling me he's told Brayden to come to the Warriors, he said that he got invited to a Meet and Greet with the Kiwis prior to the test match against Tonga, he spoke to Shaun there, Shaun said that he never actually wanted to leave the Warriors, he would of stayed for less, but it was his Management that wanted him to leave and made all the moves, not him. He said Shaun was not happy at the Sharks and was homesick and would happily come back.
Bring our boy back. 700-800k a season.

I’ve said all along. It’s all an elaborate ruse from the Warriors.
Let Johnson go. Let another team sign him for three years. Have him underperform for a year. Re-sign him for the last two years of his contract for $500k with the other team picking up the rest.
$1m player taking up $500k of our cap for two years.

Yeah because the likes of Ah Mau and Blair are definitely worth more...
If we matched every player against Blairs salary we might be in a bit of trouble with the cap. Anyway I would be pretty happy gettin SJ if we are only paying 500k and the Sharks pick up the rest If we want him to perform then he would need to getting paid enough to make him happy and 500k aint going to do that

Sorry, our management isn’t that clever.

Its not a dying art. Its a dead tactic.
You know this? I would like to see your tackle counts mate.;)

Of course it was. Managers are arseholes and it sounds like this one got the message.
