haha, not their strongest team. ??They came here without their "strongest team" last year, and that Kennedy dude trumpled us into the ground.

We have to create an attitude that all teams are tough, BUT, we are tougher, and more desperate. !!!

Well when you look at it on paper their backline is pretty meek but they have a good backrow, and Ben Kennedy is not the whole team, he is just an individual, and a good one at that.

We don't want to go into the game thinking a team is "too tough", otherwise it gives the impression that the mountain we are trying to climb is too big.

Manly have a strong backline with Bell and Stewart regular try scorers.
They are well served by Orford. I have more concerns about how we close down their backs than their forwards.

They're a good side. Stewart is exceptional at the back, Bell is a great centre, Orford is Matt Orford say no more, young Burns has a bit of ticker to him - where they'll struggle is right up front in my opinion, but that backrow behind it is mighy impressive.

Tough game. One we should win being at home, but tough nonetheless.

I'd pretty much agree with you but King had a good game for a change against the Roosters. The Roosters pack does suck apart from Morley though. You guys would have got some confidence from the Knights win but overall I'd say Manly by 16. 8)

strong backline and backrow.

this looks their strongest team.

will be atough game

Orford was on fire last week along with Bell.

It's a good team. Kennedy, Menzies and Leuluai are the dangers I reckon.

Be weird not abusing Hoppa at Ericsson, he always played well there.

Dude, Manly are a Mean team - there entire team is stacked and they have many other players on the ranks.
Manly will be tough but if the Warriors can continue to play there sets they should be able grind down there forwards and expose there backs.
Expect Steven Bell to score. Plus this will be Steve Matai's home coming game, so expect loads of hits from this Richmond/Ponsonby boy!

Ha- Not there strongest team!

I'd rather play them now than later on in the season when they do get it right. I believe that if they put it together and injuries aren't major they are legitimate title contendors.

I think there forward pack is probably the fastest, most mobile and experienced pack in the competition. There backline les by Orford is probably the most underated and they will definatly be one of the fitter teams in the comp.

They obviously haven't connected yet and I do think that the Warriors providing that they can play thier game can knock them over. But I won't be so confident later in the season if the Sea Eagles start to pleay to their potential.

And Da Maori Man you're 100% right Kennedy has kills us everytime. The Warriors back-row have to hammer him and I'm a little worries because in the second-half of the game against the knights they started dropping off a lot of tackles.

That's a pretty damn good Manly side there.

Their backrow has a lot more strikepower than the Warriors IMO. Beaver was simply everywhere in the last Manly match I saw - he's always been extremely consistant and very dangerous on attack. Ben Kennedy i a handful for any defensive line .. great runner and offloader.

The Warriors have the edge in the propping department though - you'd expect Price and Wiki to dominate there.

Fien is going to have to be on his game to contain Orford too.

It'll be a tough game - but if our boys can lower their error rate and keep the Manly strike players in check, I think they have a good chance of getting that 3rd win on the trot.

It's a good team, a very good one and if the Warriors are good enough they'll win. I wouldn't say it is likely to be a comfortable win but one that requires them to really graft it out. Work as a team and do the basics right

Firstly, I said not their strongest team, I never said they weren't a good team. I said this because I think that their strongest side would be Monaghan at five/eighth and Dunley at hooker, as I do not rate Travis Burns. Granted, they have good outside backs in Stewart, Bell, Matai etc. and a good backrow with Watmough, Menzies and Kennedy, but I still think there is room for improvement in their team. Maybe you should actually take the time to read a post thoroughly and digest what it is saying rather than just regurgitating a bunch of crap.

For those of you thinking I meant that the Manly team is not good then you are mistaken, I just stated that it wasn't their strongest team. I still believe they will be a tough proposition this Sunday.

Secondly, if you are going to call people names on this forum (which has been a contentious topic in the last few weeks) then you would be better off joining another forum, as nobody will really want you here.

Manly by 16 no way bro its gonna be an arm wrestle to the dying moments whoever wins its gonna be by one try, give or take goal kicking.
We have even odds, just like them 50-50 so hopelfully our crowd is huge which the players deserve after 2 in a row to give us the extra 1%.
