Yep...if you score two tries but let three in...you are a liability...how many Warriors come into that category?pick proven tacklers first, aim for shut outs and low errors,

Remember all the hooplah during the WC when we were using the 'Roosters defensive system ?
There was an article about how the Roosters players had persuaded the coach to try thier system (most effective defence in the NRL at that time).
We don't have JWH or SBW this time round....I imagine the pattern changed after those two were no longer in favor /available...and the campaign turned to shit.
Interestingly we conceded lots of points in that WC against the big two.
And funny enough, they have only lost one test in the last two years... 7 from 8. Not bad...
Yep. He's a class above Tui at the moment. I think tui maybe caught in that konrad hurrell trap of thinking he's made it without putting in the hard yards.
Or maybe they're trying to turn Tui into something he's not...he looks like a duck out of water playing in the halves. but looks like an absolute natural on the wing.
If it walks like a winger, talks like a winger, and looks like a winger...maybe it's a winger.
Or a prop.![]()
I'll wait till he gets named International Winger of the Year a few times before I pass judgment as to whether he's a better winger than Manu then.Well i guess if he couldn't defend, could barely catch, couldn't kick, had no real ball skills to speak of, had very limited footwork and took longer to turn than the queen Mary, and who's only real talent was running straight and hard, then yes, he would probably suit prop more than any other position.![]()
Dont like the selection of Peta Hiku at stand off but who else could Mooks have selected there. Only other option was Tuimoala Lolohea.
Considering the players that were available I think Kearneys done a good job. He wont be getting sacked anytime soon...

I believe Kearney thinks my way or the highway???JWH would have been selected for this tour and the ANZAC test and last year's Four Nations if not for injury and making himself unavailable, there's nothing in that one.
Plus given his form of late Kearney and I look forward to seeing him transfer that to the Kiwi's jersey before the WC
very true and so just look at his passion.Kidwell looked more like the Kiwis coach then Kearney. Kidwell just exudes that Kiwi passion.
