All for the International game growing, but the switches between nations is a joke

I have no issues with Fein or Webb. They waited for the residency eligibility clause to kick in (though Fein did have the Granny-Gate glitch) and have played like proud Kiwis in all appearances for us. I am embarrassed that Hurrel will be a Kiwi when he has already stated the only reason is for career advancement, and not due to loyalties.I like the fact that players can play for their TRUE cultural teams after playing for the bigger teams. Hate it in Union how a player cant play for the Island teams after playing only one game for the All Blacks or Wallabies.
The biggest joke is actually when the bigger teams select a player who clearly isnt from there. I can understand players like Nightingale or Mateo but players like Uate, Tamou, Hape, Fein, Webb, etc are the real joke...

Most of our players are crap at the haka, but Hurrel said in an interview prior to even being eligible for the Kiwis that he would play for us to advance his worth. That is the wrong attitude for mine. I have no doubt that Webb would not make an Aussie team, but his passion for the jersey was notable and he continued to put his hand up long after leaving our shores. I have no issue with that but Hurrel's statement reminds me of Tamou and Tony Williams.I dont see Hurrell as being any different to Webb. He was never going to make Origin or the Aussies. Watching Webb do the haka was cringeworthy!!!

Hurrell doesnt have a shit show of making the Kiwis anyway...Williams was born in Sydney, the thing with the Island teams is they don't play enough football and players improve when they are playing at rep level, consigning Hurrell to Tonga would effectively limit his ability to reach the peak of his development.
Disappointing that Matai has turned his back on the Kiwis. I can't remember the last time we fielded two quality centres for the Kiwis. Who's gonna get the nod this year? SKD and ......?
