I assume it's due to the cost to be honest...

I do agree though that business class would help them perform better.

I'm about as tall and as heavy as some forwards and flying economy is damn uncomfortable for me, so can only assume it's the same for them.

I think it was back when Neil Henry or Paul Green was coaching the Cowboys they mentioned the travel the Cowboys and Warriors do and how it would be beneficial to fly business class.

I'm guessing the same would have to go for the sides flying to those Auckland or Townsville as well.

I thought it should be something both sides should be pushing.

Last weeks game was in pretty tough temperatures and required drinks breaks. You would of thought the later slot would of been better for Townsville. The order of the games is likely around marque value of the sides and ratings.

The benefit Cleary had here being the coach for a while they could try different things for the travel. Fly in and fly out quickly, stay longer etc. Each coach would come in trying to figure out the best way around it.

I hope we acclimatize quicker than John Bateman has for the Tigers. He arrived a few weeks ago.

They were joking on NRL 360 with footage of him massaging his ankle. Getting his ankle acclimatized.

Seeing these Sydney sides playing at there two new stadiums is a bit of an eye opener to how we lack funding and organisation here in NZ.

How cool would it be for us here in NZ for the Warriors, Blues playing out of a new purpose built stadium. Crowds would likely increase with the better facilities and atmosphere.

The 430 Qld time is 730 pm Auck time … that should not be a problem.


If the stadium starts to shade out from 430 pm that will help us too.

But yeah the boys are going to be worn by eight hours travel ( includes transfers Customs etc) but the travel was today


But in the past I remember us getting smashed up playing 730 pm Aus games(930 or 1030 Auck time)

A 430 Qld game is much better for us than a 730 pm Qld or Nsw game.

We are a chance of winning … forty per cent?
