Havnt read through all the comments but did anyone else notice the speed of tuaupikis play the ball? Being so close to the ground, he was up soo much quicker or so it seemed. Anyone have the stats on that?

was focussing a lot of how his kick returns were but in the process, seemed to get a good start to the set for the next runner due to the speed he was getting up and playing the ball.

Like that first up Tigers trial, need to put a lid on things. The Cowboys haven’t been to flash opening rounds. More litmus tests to come, starting next month. We really need to win the next 2. After that, shit gets real.

It does feel good to wake up knowing we have a potential career coach in charge and not one of Brown, Kearney or Bluey. Could have added a dozen more. Let’s hope to see multiple Dogs HIA’s shortly. Kikau, Fox, Burton & Mahoney pls

Yea we definitely still have a long way to go. But I am happy with the solid foundation and as we look to ramp up later in the season there will less tolerance for solid performances from the likes of Pompey, Kosi, Simon, Williame

Probably close to the best Warriors game for five years for me. A great team performance and played the whole 80 minutes.

I expected the defence to improve, we were awful last year and a lot of it is just attitude to fix. But still how quickly we have improved is unbelievable.

The offence has been impressive and very organized, we don’t have the superstars but it’s a game plan that suits what we have and is working nicely.

Still only three games in but gee you can’t help but be impressed so far.

Man I hope Pompey watches his shot on Val and realises what he can do if sets his mind to it. He needs to put away that stupid hop, and just work an beating his man physically and getting the pass away.

Also absolutely stoked for Shaun Johnson. As soon as he put that first little run on, and started giving it to the crowd, I knew he was winding back the clock. He just needs that confidence boost to match his passion.
Ye he looked angry and played angry. Most the time he looks tired and it shows lol.

My 2 cents:
Te Maire' overcall for that try on the short side was pure heads up play. loved it, shows he's settling into the team
Kick chase was actually there this game, we were poor in this area last week.
The defense is just crunching, the stack and groundwork is magic - imagine how sapped you'd be after having Harris and FB lying on top of you.
