Positive, if the Panthers are the barometer then Tom Ale did not look out of place. Give him 50 minutes and he’ll be racking up 150+ meters and 30+ tackles.

We finally scored a good long range try so there is one positive.
Harris can put guys through a gap even in the middle of the field. We need to sort out plays to have him have bodies around it so it happens more often.

I thought it was a try but the fact it turned from repeat set to a 20 metre restart was a real momentum changer.
I thought we were courageous in defeat
Walsh was a speed bump again in defence

A good example of how poor our defence is and how well they are going all around.
Before half time we got a try disallowed. They manage to get down the other end of the field and score to take advantage of it. Not once but twice.
There should have been enough time to defend until half time and prevent the second try. For any other side. There shouldn't of been enough time to score a second try. Maybe for any other side besides the Panthers and Storm.

We were massive for the first 35 minutes defensively despite just like last week getting held down far too long in the ruck with so many second efforts and hands back on the ball. Vailea scored that try.

some would think that is a serious problem and ask who is in charge of defence?
One thing is for sure, you cannot change things by doing them the same way.

One of the main differences between this week and some of our other hidings is we allowed them to split their points across both halves instead of having a disastrous first half or capitulating in the second half.
If the incoming coach decided to do a Payten and make them watch all of the tries they conceded it will be a long watch. Probably need a whole morning or afternoon session blocked out.
