We have six players out, well seven if you count Williame yet the Broncos are the ones pulling out the sympathy card and being called the underdogs.

I don't think this game will be as hard as some are thinking. The Broncos played the Panthers last week and will likely still be feeling it even with an extra few days between that game and ours. They have some big outs while our guys will all be nice and fresh after a 2 week break. Expecting us to tear them apart through the middle.

I thought there was the other day when Webster said I’ll give you a scoop that Metcalf will play, and Stacey’s comments confirm it for me. Stark contrast from clubs generally playing down a debut.and somebody on here suggested concern we wont be embarrassed by Lukes club debut. ;-p If so, I will stand embarrassed alongside Stacy
Personally Im not a fan of T MM at 5/8th. He is my 3rd choice 5/8th, Ive felt the same in the past with both Stacy and Shaun that our 5/8th has lacked serious pace and post contact impact, not to mention Lukes brilliance in line break assists and the ability to beat some pacey FBs one on one in broken field play as well as many try assists. He has too much to unpack. He is a bigger Shaun Johnson in a lot of ways, more long distance pace and the best fends off both arms in the halves realm (which is why he is so hard to tackle off his step). Im sure after only a few days training he WILL make some mistakes, but hes no rookie either.
No disrespect to T MM, he is clearly good at what he brings. We just have too much depth now, how did this happen haha, Warriors and depth....
But Luke is the ignition scorching x factor we need at 6 with pace being something we lack but also something you cant buy enough of.
Must be exciting, club debut alongside your ex team mate and idol Shaun.
If we can play the pin them down their end like first half last match, expect Luke to stand tiring forwards up like they statues.

Feels like a weird one, like its a bit of an occasion for the warriors going to Tohu Harris's place, sell out crowd, special jersey - but the broncos are just kind of showing up unannounced without their big guns and probably a bit tired and it will be cold (by their standards) and a bit different.
Maybe we either blow them out from the get go or we get overhyped and flail about and its very close at the end.

Yes, different situation completely but considering we only beat the Bulldogs by 12, I can't see how you think this game 'wont be as hard as some are thinking'. That's the kind of stuff that gets teams in trouble. If you've followed the Warriors then you will know we have a huge history of losing the games we think we should win...
Yes, they're missing players but a team with Reynolds, Maam, Farnsworth, Staggs, Capewell, Riki, Taupau still has class about it. If we're not careful they have the ability to score 30+ points
