Dunno what to say really.

The Warriors can do that to you leave you void of ideas, imagine being Nathan Brown.

Truth is we have not got out of the starting blocks all season, there are so many issues that paradoxically they need to start over. Make slow cruel gains, and finish the year having built something lasting.

The line up we have should be better than a rebuild year, but it's not. We're still to unlock level One, hard work, slow improvements....win or lose just show some progress and retain it next week please, and the months to come.

If I’m Otukolo I’m signing elsewhere as soon as I can. That’s a kick in the teeth.

Fair enough if it was someone that has actually done something in first grade. Or a prospect that was actually shown to be better than him.
I got no problem with the club having a do the mahi get the rewards policy. You let one lazy trainer get away with it then it seeps through the playing group. We have to set high standards and stick to em otherwise we will always be mediocre at best. So he can pull finger or piss off, up to him now.

I read that Tohu Harris this week was brushing off suggestions he would make the side better and was instead putting a premium on personal accountability in that if every player performs their role within the team that is where the improvements are going to come from as a collective.

Hopefully he can show them the way.

I hope with all the overreacting to the team changes we whip the rabbits lol. And the conversations after the match are not so dour.

Game plan with this lot is simple. Wet weather , Big pack, Big halves, average hookers, Just run straight and hard, & complete our sets. Basic shit. Hope south's make more mistakes than us & Shaun Johnson & Walsh creating something off of their mistakes.

This might well be a very low scoreline & we win or lose by 1 point. I see us winning the tight ones because of clutchman Shaun Johnson.

Or, it'll be a rinse & repeat performance of the past few weeks. Then y'all can come & flame my ass for thinking we could be any better 🤣

That’s where it’s at. When you think of the sharks and storm losses, there’s been one particular moment that’s changed the game when we’re competing. Walsh’s kick dead and Katoa’s drop under pressure. Not saying they’ve been playing well but apart from those moments there’s glimpses amongst the mistakes. Get the feeling Addin Fonua-Blake is playing through injury but hopefully Tohu Harris can free him of the burden of captaincy. Notice him starting to get scratchy with the refs.

Just thinking more on it even the dragons game I reckon you could almost pinpoint the turnaround in that game was Shaun Johnson chipping from deep early in the set when still in the grind at 2 points down and the titans game was there for the taking with Pompey missing the Arthars offload. Like I say we haven’t been playing well but we are in the grind against any team at the moment, even the storm. I think Tohu Harris is spot on that if everybody does they’re own job they’re in the game, it’s moments of a player in big moments putting pressure on the team that they can’t cope with.

Sort of half expected replies like this after the general reaction to Paul Turner’s departure.

No one knows what kind of trainer he is. But from what I’ve seen from Otukolo this year in Redcliffe, if I was him I would be livid if Lussick got first crack at hooker opening.

Can I ask if you’ve watched Lussick play or just assuming he’s decent bc he’s come from the Roosters system?

Lazy or not, losing is more important. Otukolo has a chance and isnt given it. Given Jazz cant pass the ball to Shaun Johnson in a normal play, I cant see him playing dummy half going well at all, its akin to Tohu Harris playin #7 and then blaming the loss on SK. Although I rate Tohu Harris at 7 or 9 or anywhere over Jazz.

I expect Lussick will play 9 surely.

I hate to call a loss early but you dont pick your 2nd string 9 to play 9 and put a guy who throws some wild passes into the role where passing is half the role and speed from dummy half is another large chunk and you play Jazz there. Why not put Tohu Harris there instead? Makes as much sense.

Such is losing Chanel Harris-Tavita and not having Walker at 14. Volkman I presume hasnt trained? Bit much to expect from him.

No Egan for some reason makes the team look dramatically weaker. Murchie for Aitken, well if Murchie plays like he did when he joined the club he should be ok, but hes not had many starts in recent times.

Villiami going to be a speed bymp this week? sigh.

Katoa's drop after we scored was a major change in that games momentum. Hes made a lot of other costly errors. I guess we are really desperate fielding him. Why has Jackson Frei not been given a crack?

Walker, Cook, Arrow. Those who Id keep my eye on. Johnston was a Walsh for half a minute, but those days have left like a Gladiator without his head ;-p
