I like this lineup. After missing the next 3 games while serving his ban I don't think JWH is a starting option though as when he returns, a week before quarters, he hasn't played for 7 weeks. Jesse Bromwich is the captain so he starts, JWH competes with Leota & NAS for a bench spot & they both provide more impact for mine

Only change I’d make would me moving Kris out of the team for Niukore as a defensive centre.
Probably bring in Nikora in case of injuries to the backs. Otherwise Sorensen’s a great hard worker.

Id heard that story, so I asked aaron whitaker about when he took freemans spot on the 93 kiwi tour to the UK and he said whiz was an absolute champion about it- he got the news then went straight to whits room , congratulated him and took him down to the field and the 2 of them done an hour and a half session working on all thing things that had gone wrong in the first test.
Gee he was a good player whiz- bit of a forgotten man for some reason.
I always remembered it as being Stacey Jones that was involved in the incident - if indeed it happened, so sounds like I had it all wrong! However agree, Whiz was a brilliant player, that season he won the Dally M was special. Also played in the greatest GF of them all!

No no the story youre talking about was with stacey so I was expecting whit mightve had a similar story when it was him who replaced whizz but he had the opposite experience.
not sure why he took it so much harder the second time around- maybe it was the way the news was delivered? or maybe he realized that was probably the end for him? idk
I just remember seeing him on the bus packing the sads, quite funny
