MOM to Fish! But Lillyman has done well this season

Hard to see clearly with tears in my eyes though :{

It was good to see Henry back in the forwards too

looking for positives...um......ah.....I thought Lillyman was strong and got my MOM. Ika looks good, Shaun Johnson had probably his best kicking game for a while, Godinet was quiet by his previous 2 games standards but was still a lot better than Taylor, we actually looked good in attack when Locke and Shaun Johnson got involved and we had some depth to our backline (or was that the sharks letting us have a run?) Elliott is going to have to make some changes - positional and player wise for next week. We are still a long way off being competitive.

facefacts

Lillyman by a mile, Henry was very good for his first game in awhile, made some excellent tackles, and Lowrie was good like usual....the rest were pretty forgettable.

I've gone with
3 - Locke
2 - Godinet
1 - Laumape

Locke seemed to be the only one intent on trying to spark something. Even that good-for-nothing Johnson had to send it to Locke to try to find a spark.
Godinet always looks dangerous and his try was undone by the flow of the game - if it could go wrong it would. His defence was better that the supposed "good defenders".
Laumape didn't make a fool of himself in a team filled with fools.

I now think it is time for people to fall on their swords. Hurrell put his hand up as not playing well enough, but he is a kid fresh to first grade who isn't getting much ball. How the fuck could he play well.

I want to see the captain put his hand up and offer his resignation from the top job until a turnaround happens. His tackling is reasonably good but his leadership is pathetic. That team needed to have its balls handed to it in the ingoal awaiting yet another conversion, but he is too proud to do it.

Johnson is another one who should get the arse. He really offers nothing but a very rare one off individually brilliant runaway try and just looks like an idiot the rest of the time.

Mateo does sweet f-all and has to take a break. They were 1 minute back from a drinks break and he struggled to play the ball as he was hunched over puffing, then, once the ball was played, he returned to that pose.

These 3 players in supposed senior/leadership roles are the problem.

And our attack is a myth. Ever since our team was filled with these attacking superstars like Locke, Hurrell, Johnson, Mateo, etc we have struggled to score anything. This week we added to our abysmal inability to score in the first half. Last week we broke the hoodoo of not being able to score in the final 20 minutes. That leaves 20 minutes of most games where we might get lucky and get some points.

I think its time to drop the Warriors back to NSW Cup and find another team capable of playing a game at the top level.

P.S. I was actually relieved to see Rapira go off inside the first 5 minutes. Hopefully, that was his last shot in the first grade, and we can concentrate on selling him to some club who are short on brittle, ineffective players still living off a reputation undelivered on for over 2 years.

Lillyman great, Laumape creditable debut. it was good to see Kevin Locke getting more and more involved. Was also very happy with Benry. Perhaps he can play centre next week?

I guess what we do now is look at the cold hard facts - you usually need a 50/50 W/L to make the bottom of the playoffs. 13 losses will basically squeak us in, any more than that will be a problem.

The Myth...Heard Peter Jackson is thinking of doing a movie on Steve Rapira

And our attack is a myth.

TBH we are not holding on to the ball enough to string together any decent attack. Add to that the fact we get raped by the penalty count and we give up after we lose the battle early on and we never really lay a foundation to show anything on attack.

Can it be called rape if it is self-inflicted? Sounds more like aggressive wanking to me.[DOUBLEPOST=1364103801][/DOUBLEPOST]
And with 25 missed tackles our defence aren't good either, so that leaves...best gym equipment in the NRL?
and most colourful crowds.

We do seem to get hit really hard at the start our games though

perhaps, but my belief has always been that we know its coming so we should do everything in our control to give no opportunity to penalise. We are one of the worst at giving away penalties, and it usually comes from our senior players.
