RD 21 Preview Panthers v Warriors
Wednesday, July 26, 2006 - 2:36 PM
The Panthers are fast running out of chances. A crucial game for them.
Form: Things were looking up for the Panthers with three wins from their past four games until their second-half blowout against Manly.
The Panthers were hammered 26-6 after half-time. Momentum generated by the Warriors was slowed by losses to the Eels and Bulldogs.
History: Penrith had won the past six games straight before the Warriors shaded them 28-22 in Auckland not so long ago back in round 17.
Danger sign: The Warriors invariably have trouble containing Panthers’ hooker Luke Priddis (pictured). He has bagged a try in four of his past five games against them.
Best Bet? These teams average over 50 points per game in total match points.
Take the Overs option in Under/Overs betting.
Money-spinner: Following on from last week’s effort by the Panthers, take a Penrith/Warriors result in the Half/Full Double.
