It was a game of if's.... If Manu had not dropped the ball and if only Maloney had had his kicking boots on .But considering the weather it was don't leave the room stuff especially in the last 10 mins And that would be the worst call I have ever heard of a game

so many good performances its hard to pick one. mannering and friend were awesome on defence. mannering puts fullstops on tackles, he seems surprising strong. friend doesnt miss either. matulino and packer were great. manu was excellent under the high ball, ran strong and when he didnt make ground he managed to struggle and stay on his feet and buy our guys time to get back onside. kevin locke, brilliant in wet weather, so reliable. johnsons attacking kicks are so accurate and maloney and him both have great long kicking games that find the turf.

ill go with mannering because he does all the shitty clean up work so well.

Now's the time for Mr Cleary to do a favour to his former team by beating the Tigers.

Maloney stands out as the disappointment due to his kicking.

The result while obviously not doing us any favours in terms of finals footy points wise doesn't particularly knock my confidence about the team making the finals either.

I blame Jbroneys kicking for our loss, general play as well as goal kicking. Omar looked good in the last 20 but whats the point of having a fit fast 20 year old on the bench and only getting 20mins out of him?

We had 80% completion,,,racked up more meters and made less tackles. Outscored them 2 tries and 1 and we lost...tough one to take...But 0-3 dont help

Omar had 5 runs for 55m and 4 tackle breaks in limited mins and sat Hodges on his ass with a mean fend...surely Tupou is under pressure for that wing spot

mannering gets mine. huge effort in the wet. 80mins. big defence, lts of clean up. friend not far behind. matulino and packer ran strong. locke solid and well positioned. manu good comeback.
very happy with effort. not happy about lose.
thought kicking option in last quarter could have been better. Shaun Johnson's bombs rather than maloneys whatevers. make it a lottery in the wet.
matched it with a top 4 side who many predict to win comp.
they say the wet brings teams closer together. not sure if that bought us closer to them or them closer to us.

can win 4 from 7 i think. not sure thats enough to get us in the 8

Maloney missed 3 kicks tonight, two of them were relatively easy. Johnson bombed a try by not passing it. That's 12 hypothetical points. Not to mention Vatuvei didn't fail miserably at center and actually put Tupou in a good position. Our defense also only let in 1 try this game, considering we usually let in 20 odd points this is a massive improvement...

Are you a bit more optimistic now?
