Woeful performance. Who was our Man of the match?

A quick summary from my POV:

    - Godinet and/or Mara need more minutes at dummy half while Friend is out. Elijah Taylor is in no way even a stop-gap number 9, he was so far off the pace. Defensively adequate, but nowhere near NRL level in terms of his distribution.

    - Johnson needs to back to basics. No flashy shit, no running across field. Concentrate on passing, kicking, and territory. Once he has an established partnership with TL, and the side around him is performing, he can bring out the flair. At present, he's not even getting the basics right.

    - Fringes, again look weak. Whether it's Hurrell or Mateo with lazy defence, the Eels outside backs ran riot.

    - Steve Rapira, for someone supposedly strong on defence, he was a shadow of anything considered NRL standard. 13 tackles and 4 missed. Gubb could surely not do any worse.

    Post match talk, go nuts...

    No MoM.

Seriously, no one performed at all.

I'm shocked. I thought these performances were behind us. I am starting to believe that there is something seriously wrong in that camp that has carried over from last year.

They look like they don't want to play for each other.

    A few shockers:

    SJ - rubbish
Locke - never saw one support run from him. One pass to Dane doesn't cut it.
    Hurrell - rubbish

I'm so disappointed - absolutely crap. Shocking.

A lot of teams have a poor defensive halfback who can be hidden within reason....we not only have one of those, we have half a team that are defensively inept. The worst part is, anyone we bring in is more than likely going to be as bad, if not worse.

Mateo is a cancer in that defensive line.

Really disappointed, and actually surprised... although I'm not sure why I keep getting surprised by Warriors non-performances?

And I know he is an ex-team mate and probably has a lot of friends at the Eels, and it is just a game blah blah; it really pissed me off to see Mateo laughing and joking with the Eels players afterwards. I'd hope the players were as gutted as the fans

I can't believe that The Fish could actually be worse than Tupou on the wing.

    F**king disgusting.

Taylor is not a hooker, I think that was pretty clear - Godinet looked OK, and had much more of a spark.
The Fish still has penis fingers and I would bet he would have a better chance of getting through 'War and Peace' than reading a defensive line.
Locke was weak at the back, his kick returns were piss poor all night.
In general we just looked terrible, unfit, and uninterested. The call at HT from ME was for "Patience". Patience... How about some fkn urgency. Neilson, Matulino the best of a very poor bunch tonight.
9 on the trot and counting...

Johnson is a ghost, if he didnt have that stand out 2011 he would be playing Vulcans, or ESL. He's still getting picked off 2011 hes woeful. Steve Raps cant defend for shit, im just pissed I could rant about every player. I voted Godinet coz he provided atleast a bit of spark, Taylor can Fuck off to Penrith today

disagree, fish was much better than tupoo....I would not like to be on the wing outside Hurrell. Fish had a good mtach for what it turned into.

I'm with you man. I posted that on the Warriors FB page.

None of them looked hurt - we hurt more than them I'm 100% sure.

Just so terribly disappointed. No heart, no trying, just nothing positive - well other than Pita for a short time. Problem with him is he's as bad defensively as the rest. I honestly don't see is conceding less than 30 points a game.
