Is it possible for posters to move their own threads to more relevant discussions once they have been posted?

Another question. Why have the ads changed and I am now getting "Women who never say No".

And ............ Has anyone tried them?

Great - I reckon it could save the mods a lot of work if we could self-moderate when things go off topic.

When has that ever happened? I would have thought you and I were two of the best behaved on here, low maintenance and to the letter of the law with our posts.

Of course they could make you a mod.

This post isn't off topic is it?

You can already do that by editing, deleting your post. Or not post at all if you know you might be taking a thread severley offtopic by rereading the thread title.

Alternatively you can "report" for your post to be moved if made in error.

Any of the above is a far better option if you want to save time for mods.

I would rather be able to move my own post to gramma-Nazi or off-topic chatter as the context is often lost when a moderator moves things about.

Just out of curiosity why do you do the multiple threads for a game?

i.e. the pre, during and post game threads as opposed to one covering the game?

    Not an issue, just wondered.

It was mainly to do with some people who went to/watched the game away from the site and didnt want to have to read through pages and pages of discussion from during the game when they came on here. Primarily they wanted to go straight to discussing post match and that was considered a better reasoning for the post match thread. Additionally the gameday chatter is not moderated so people can easily post stuff like 'lol', 'tRY!!!!', 'this sucks' etc without fear of having their posts deleted. The post match threads brings the standards back though.

Also worth noting is that back then, we did not have 'thread highlights' on here. That could easily take anyone coming onto the thread from when post match starts. However once again its an under utilised feature of the site.

Is it possible to post threads "LIVE" from a Warriors game.

For example, Mt. Wellington could be at Mount Smart & post live photos & or chat Live from the ground.
Behind the scenes pictures on the game day thread etc..of the Warriors warming up
or fans or other game day stuff live from the ground..

Is there software available to do that???

Poor bugger would never be able to watch the game if hes at the game chatting on here lol

Its possible to utilise the Periscope app (which incidently the Warriors used to great effect last year and for some reason or other have totally dropped it this season), and other related apps to do stuff like that.

People are welcome to add their game photos to the media gallery -> https://www.nzwarriors.com/gallery/

It's hard enough at home while watching the game and posting.

Seen above about people not wanting to go through all of the posts during the game. I favour that as I tend to skip the game day stuff as I miss too much of the game and post my thoughts afterwards in the post game thread.

The game day chatter I find good in moderation as it can be like watching a game with your mates. Like round 1 against the tigers when everyone's season expectations turned to custard. The humour was a bit of a laugh; like the guy offering everyone a BJ if we won then the team started making a comeback.

That paragraph probably reads weird. It's like watching with your mates..............get a BJ.

Deranged that was, in more ways than one.

I like the game day chatter but sometimes dont bother reading it for home games that I attend. It can be a laugh seeing the way the posts vary from hope to despair than anger to exhilaration lol...

The game day threads are up and down alright. That round 1 was a laugh with the jokes that created; just glad my wife didn't ask me what I was chuckling about.

I quite like the current system as it is structured. The team naming thread so you can discuss the side, the oppositions side or the upcoming game in general. The game day a bit of banter throughout the day and can discuss the game. Post game for analysis.

Three separate threads mean you don't need to join in or pick up the conversation in one large thread you can pick and choose where you want to join the conversation. It's a long season so 26 weeks of team naming discussion isn't too interesting especially if we are winning or hard to get time for due to real world distractions.

    Hi All,

I'm currently a little bit stumped, and need to ask a quick question.

Does anyone have a Microsoft hosted email address - e.g. one that ends in the following?:
    • @outlook.com
    • @outlook.com.au
    • @hotmail.com
    • @live.com
........that hasn't been receiving site related emails? E.g. someone started a conversation with you, someone replied to a thread, etc....

I don't know if it is just a problem on my end, but I even tried changing my email to another microsoft email and it didn't work.

I've already spoken to tajhay about this, but I'm interested to know if you have noticed the same thing.

    Cheers,
