Hay there,
I have been told by a member that they have seen me online at times that I clearly wasnt.

This coincides with a couple of posts a week or 2 back which had my name next to them which I clearly didnt post. At first I thought there must of been a hiccup with the site and it had mixed some IDs up, now im not so sure. Also around the same time a couple of new PM's in my account came up as having been read already and not as new.

What concerns me is that someone could possibly have access to my account and start posting abuse or reading through my PMs.

Is there anyway in future if i am told of an exact time that i had appeared online that you i can pass this onto you guys and you might be able to look at the IP ?

That is very strange indeed. Hmmm...unless some one you know knows your pssword would be able to. If you are signed in automatically on the site then anyone who uses your computer can post yes but that's the only thing I can think of...

If you can tell me what posts there is that you don't think you made and about what times your account was logged in but you weren't then I can look into it for you and see what is going on.

Mix - The Admins can check the times you were active on the site.

Take note that with your PM's being read and being replied to, this can only occur if the Site Owners have the rights to make these changes.

Jesbass advised earlier that as Admin they do not have the right priviledges to do so, which means by default either the Site Owner or someone else with that high level of access has been "doing things" on your behaklf.

I suggest you change your password A.S.A.P, if you have not done so already.

And as a care taker for Moshs' absene from time to time I've never once muddled in any user's business. I only take care of removing spam users/updating the other bits but NEVER accessed anyones active users accounts AT ALL.

No they aren't. EnterFien is at the moment soely inchrage of the designing side. and Mosh does what he does to keep the place running as it does.

Ravs tou have missed my point ... Mosh and Fein or Mosh/Fein do not have to "log in" in order to make changes to the database or even carry out whatever maintenance routine they need doing.

Mix had a question and I answered it, you as a Mod and Jesbass as an Admin have limited access compared to the "Super Users".

And by the way no one said you had accessed someone's account.

I think that's the best short term solution, Mix. I'm quite ignorant when it comes to the inner workings of websites, so I'm not sure if whoever accessed your account, (assuming that this is indeed what happened), couldn't also access your new password, but it might help to prevent this happening again.
